that's disgusting that you can't even accept your own son. you're basically calling him gross. he CANT change who he is. you raised this child and you're saying you don't want to attend his wedding? shouldn't you be happy for him? gays are no different then a straight couple in the way they love each other. At a wedding, they wouldn't be using tongue. they'd be as normal as you and your husband were. a gay relationship doesn't act in anyway different then a straight couple. they love each other, and you love your husband. it's the same thing. and the man wouldn't be called a male bride. they'd both be grooms.

They say a love is between a man and a woman, but I see no difference in a man loving a man and a woman loving a woman. If you say it's unnatural, then maybe if is. But with populations already rising, maybe a little unnaturalism is just what we need.

Their right to marry effects us in no negative way possible, as the sanctity of marriage is already tainted and broken. Even if it wasn't, two men or two women loving each other wouldn't hurt it in any way possible.

Separation of church and state is a very simple idea, really. Our forefathers had the foresight to see that theists would try to impose their doctrine on a society that was founded on the principle of equal rights for all of its citizens. The bible has no place in government.
Since the bible says that marriage is between a man and a woman, it also says that people should be put to death for working on the sabbath, that you can sell your youngest daughter into slavery, the whole town should come together to stone people who plant different crops next to each other, and that you should burn to death those who wear clothing made from two different threads of material.
Since you are so interested in what the good book says, are you practicing everything it says? Or are you just using certaian parts of it to oppress those who are different from yourself?
