I believe it's a matter of equal rights.

We have civil union partnerships in New Jersey, but no rights the second we leave the state. Not to mention, we still have encountered insurance and other fiscal issues in New Jersey even though the letter of the law is supposed to be "equivalent" to marriage. Separate is not equal. The loving relationship we have shared for a decade deserves the respect of equality.

If a black man and a white woman can marry, why can't a black man and a white man marry?

Honestly, the way two people love each other is no one's business. It doesn't hurt them, and it doesn't hurt you, so I don't see why anyone would be against. This isn't a matter of religion. America was built on separation of church and state, remember? It's sad to see how many people oppose the freedom to love.

We are all born equal. In the name of the anti-segregation and the third wave feminist movement, same sex marriage should also be allowed.

If two people love each other and want to get married, why shouldn't they? Lay off of them haters!

Everyone should have the same rights. We shouldn't be treated as second class citizens.

The govt has no right to regulate people's personal lives. How can we be a nation based on liberty for all and then use separate but equal arguments?

I run a GSA in my school and I fully support the gays everywhere. They are people just the same as anyone else.
