Marriage is between man and women, mostly for procreation, or continuation of the human species. All other arrangements are extinction oriented behaviors.

I support gay marriage because it has been ruled by the Supreme Court that marriage is a fundamental right. Plus, if you don't want a gay marriage, don't get one. It's that simple.

The Supreme Court is not GOD. If the Supreme Court told you to jump off a bridge, would you? The only factors the Supreme Court weighed in on were the laws pertaining to individual human rights and certain "legal" definitions of what constitutes marriage. Each individual Supreme Court Judge did cast a vote as to whether they personally "believe" in gay marriage. I am against gay marriage because I choose to believe that God created man and woman, in that order, for a specific reason. I believe this way from my heart and mind, and not because the Supreme Court told me to.

Listen up Jay, you moron, opinions are based on personal beliefs, and experience and a lot of other stuff, I have one, you have one and a lot of other people have one. I am allowed to express mine just like you are. I simply addressed "Tom" and his statement that he supports something because the Supreme Court said so. We, as a people, are allowed to disagree with the Supreme Court. Just making an observation with a little of my own opinion and beliefs. I guess the way you think is that anyone who disagrees with you is just stupid and full of stupid comments. Well, that comment of yours shows just how "stupid" you are and narrow minded to boot. Whatever, I will not address you again no matter how much you beg, so write on fool, talk to the hand.

It is against God's Word. That along with other things makes it wrong. When God says no to something, what He is saying is "Don't hurt yourself. All because He loves us and He knows best.

Gay marriage is proscribed by the Bible, not in so many words, but homosexuality is called an "abomination" by many books in the Bible. Should we support this? I say no! This is just a sign of the deterioration of our society that just cannot be tolerated. Marriage between man and woman has but one purpose - progeny ( "children" to the uneducated amongst us). Perpetuation of the human race is the most important issue here. Sex between two of the same sex may only be for "recreation", or as I say; desperation, not for marriage.

Hello, anyone there? The Supreme Court's only job is to enforce the Constitution of the United States of America. They are the last court in the land that can determine that a law is constitutional, or un-constitutional. They have no other function, and cannot "legislate from the bench". They either determine that a federal, state, or local law is in the best form that follows the Constitution, or is not. Very soon, they are going to face two big issues: Whether Obama can legally exercise his presidency, and the final fight of Roe VS Wade. There are very few instances of the Supreme Court reversing itself. I can only remember six times where the SCOTUS has reversed itself, and none were recent.

Their "personal" feelings have no bearings on how they are supposed to rule. Censuring a SCOTUS judge happened in the 60's, and may happen again if one of the recent appointees bases their judgment on personal bias, rather than on the Constitution. AND, no American has the duty or obligation to follow a law that they feel is against their personal religious belief. We never had to follow orders in the Navy that we thought were immoral, or illegal. The same option can be exercised by any American citizen.

Read your copy of the Declaration of Independence, and the Constitution, that is - if you have one. If you do not, better get one because you are going to need it ( if only to see how your rights are being eroded away almost daily).

As it sits right now, you have the right to be of any sexual persuasion you want, but only a man and a woman has the right to marry. Live with it.

Cameron,
No what? Specify your comment! I'm trying not to be mean to you, but a one word answer does not express your views here. Only a two year old has a one word vocabulary, because that is the word they hear the most. So, what do you mean by the word "no"?
