What do I care if people want to get married or not. It doesn't hurt me or bother me in any way. It doesn't threaten me or any relationship I may or may not be involved int. As Jimmy Durante once put it, "Don't put no constrictions of the people. Leave 'em the hell alone."

Yes, that just makes for a wonderful society. Go to a public place and take in what you see. Now look back 40 years and imagine what you would see. Makes you want to puke.

A stimulus shot? It looks to me (elkc) like you're advocating putting a surcharge on gay people, simply because they would like to have the same things, someone of your caliber would probably refer to as "normal people".
Do you really believe you deserve a stimulus shot from gay people who profess to love each other and simply wish to show that love through the same expressions as your "normal people" such as a marriage license, a wedding, a honeymoon and most of all a home to call their own?
Stimulus shot= no new taxes = surcharge on gays, shame on you (elkc) if Wittmannnews.com is in such dire financial straits that a few pennies in new taxes would close your doors, I say tax the hell out of you! but no surcharge on gays. No matter your opinions of gays, at least they are legal citizens of this country, unlike the illegal Mexicans you seem to be so fond of. J.W. Simms.

Not a surcharge...it is common knowledge if anyone has researched or read or watched the evening news that in this economy the gay communities are the ones who are left with the most disposable incomes to do the things I suggested that every straight couple does. Have, a wedding, honeymoon, buy a house...having a disposal income they are more likely to spend in areas where business is currently low like Las Vegas, Cruise Lines, and so forth. By no means did I mean to indicate to apply a special fee just for or so a portion of our society can enjoy the same benefits that equal rights would let them entertain. My point was merely if America allows gay marriage there will be prompted more spending around the businesses associated with marriage it would be a self made type of stimulus using their spending habits to flex the economy...it may not be a National fix but I am sure there are Marriage Chapels, flower shops, real estate companies and honeymoon suites that would love to have the business that Legal Gay Marriage would stimulate and retain workers during these times. The word stimulus is not always centered on the government applying the fee it can be created by finding ways to encourage new business that might not have been. This can spill over to other businesses by allowing gay married couples on to the same health insurance policies where they are protected and there begins to be added revenue thus a market the insurance company didnít have available before. It is another privilege that would result from having the right to marry it would be there for them to take or leave. Also the county/state/city charges a marriage license fee, there are fees that a judge or pastor might also include it would be a self producing shot in the arm. Not forced onto anyone but rather theirs to give if they want to!

Actually I have promoted gay marriage on my site but have to offer opposing views or else Iíd be just what you claim that I am. Just like I offered a free entire page at the website you mentioned. A entire page for the Tea Party Rally where Sherriff Joe and J.D. Hayworth will be guest speakers at the Mexico-American Border...their setting up RV parking spots, filling hotels, probably see around ten thousand or more people down there this weekend. The page was provided as a service to those wanting to have that type of information for no charge. You know and everyone knows I make no money off that thing. During this recession I've provided ads for no charge to any business owner in Wittmann - Morristown - Circle City - Wickenburg - Surprise. I pay for the site to remain open it isn't neither a For or Non-profit Org. Iit is just me returning something to the community...What have you done?

Are you kidding, a stimulus shot from gay marriage? As if that is really going to help the mess this country is in? Give me a break.

Here's an idea, maybe you could persuade the catholic church to allow priests to marry. That would be a double stimulus! Besides the wedding dollars spent maybe they would leave little boys alone. It's a win win. Gee can't you just count all the dollars??

If two people love eachother, regardless of their sex,
why should it matter if they wish to get married?
Everyone should just leave the matter alone.
Our world today has bigger issues, like Climate Change and poverty and people dying.
Im ashamed of the human race unable to just figure something out as simple as gay marriage. Sure, maybe you don't agree with it. But if you're not part of it, leave it the hell alone because it doesn't affect you in anyway.

Hey J.W. I don't think it's fair to bring Wittmannnews.com into this. It has nothing to do with the comments posted here and it is nice that he provides the service to the community. If you don't like it, don't read it. Now the gay marriage thing, that's an entirely different matter...

If you see an economic theory from a small portion of the New ERa of Society.
may i suggest, starting from Quartzite south along with this rally with JD and the Sheriff have all the Block thinking Right with their Alumiunum Jungle of RV's line up Length wise along the border.
Money spent on a wall../ fence. is outright laughable. i understand the purpose of Funneling in the masses that want to come or go...and that a fence is a orginized barrier...but,i venture to guess....guess mind you..a rally of "ten thousand" want their pension/savings spent on taxes towards a smarter process towards making the culprits of illeagal labor by CORPORATE neglegence pay the bill...or is that the majority of TeaParty-ers substance for having a savings/pension?
in other words most the people at that rally got thier money from corporate usage of illigal laborers.
see America...in a RV....then hate Spam towrds an America trying to get out of a sinking ship..But NO..the Tea..**&^%%$$## heads are letting it sink..no help..just hate and Bitch...sessions.

(elkc)! With a line of Bullshit like you just posted here, you should probably run for public office, you seem like politician material to me. You could probably rival McCain in flip flops, back tracking and doing the old switcheroo. J.W. Simms.

Bringing the Wittmannnews.com into the fracas, is relevant and has everything to do with the comments posted here, WHEN!! the Bullshit comments posted, were directed at the entire gay community, suggesting that merely because these people are of a different sexual orientation than some others, that they somehow should pay more financially! for the same constitutional guarantees of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, that the rest of us demand as a right. Please note if you will, that! these outrageous comments were posted by the "Managing Editor of Wittmannnews.com " one Mr. Benjamin Groff. The relevancy should be obvious, even to the most casual observer.

Also I don't like the Arizona Republic either, or the Phoenix new times, but I read them to stay abreast of the next bucket of horseshit that comes down the line, so I don't step into something disgusting. J.W. Simms.
