I do support, and my state supports Civil Unions. I'm still getting married in New York in March.

I am gay, and there's no reason I shouldn't be. I don't tell people it's wrong to be straight, so why should they force their opinions on me, when they've never been like me? They don't know what it's like, whether they think they do or not.

I have so many things I could say, but for those throwing the Bible in everyone's face... Callie: Jesus: A new commandment that I give unto you. That you love one another. Dad: Romans: But we know that Callie: Jesus: He who is without sin among you, let him cast the first stone. Dad: So you admit it is a sin Callie: Blessed are the merciful for they shall obtain mercy. Jesus: Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God. Jesus: Blessed are those who have been persecuted for righteousness sake. For theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Jesus is my savior daddy. not you. And Jesus would be ashamed of you for judging me. He would be ashamed of you for turning your back on me. He would be ashamed.-Grey's Anatomy, "Invasion"

Wow, I am floored...and proud to have lived in Salem based on what I've read in the forum today. I'm not sure what Amanda Young is saying but that's ok. I find it refreshing to know that there has been a change taking place in Salem since the 30 years ago when I grew up there. Kudos to you Anthony, Jayson, Jordan and Frank for supporting Jayson.
Life is too short to hate others for who they love.

Every human should have the right to marry which ever other human they so choose. Marriage is between two people; and no matter who they are, their rights should all be equal!

I think it's ridiculous to believe that only strait people are entitled to love. So we're going to make homosexuals miserable by making them marry...us? Make all of us miserable? What's it hurting? Many people use the Bible as an excuse, but they are only referring to one small part. If you use one part, I believe you must use it all. No tattoos, mixing fabrics, cutting hair, piercings, etc.

I feel that until you've walked in another persons shoes, you shouldn't judge. I personally don't think people choose to be gay. I think they are born that way and they tend to be the nicest people ever! I wish you all the best!

Love is hard enough to find in this world. No sense in denying it to those who can find it.
