history repeating itself. our descendants will be looking at this issue in the future just as we now look at black history, women rights, religious freedom, etc. It's basic human rights to live their lives as they please as long as it doesn't affect others. Just in case, I'm happily married with two children (boy and girl) and they have a better understanding of this principle than many of those self claimed christians or politicians.

Gays who have lived together for years have no rights after one partner dies. This gives them the rights

It's horrible that we should be voting on who has the right to get married and who doesn't. love is love no matter if it's a man/woman woman/woman/ man/man.
And if anyone tries to use the "sanctity of marriage" argument, then they deserve a slap to the face.

Why should it matter who one marries? It has no impact on anyone other than the couple and possibly their families, so why should anyone outside of those have a say on the matter?

Marriage is a sacred bond between two people who love each other whole heartedly. If two men or two women can love each other whole heartedly they should have every right to marry. Period.

It's none of our business who someone chooses to love and frankly, I don't see how it affects anyone's lives but their own. I support it.

in the legal since, churchs shouldnt have to. But the fed/state should have no say in the legality of it.
