No, because God tells his people that a man can't live by himself. He needs a woman. But it does not mean that a man lives alone then our society judge him a gay. May be his personality does not fit with anyone. His income is not good or he may get married late. Please do not judge people right away. We have to find out. Thanks
...wait, are you saying that people think that because a guy is single society judges him as gay???
Sweetheart, you are highly mistaken.
My dad has been single for 14 years, but that doesn't make him gay.
My friend Dean is single, but that doesn't make him gay.
My dad is single because he hasnt found Ms. Right.
Dean is single because he hasn't found Mr. Right.
I don't know WHAT made you think that society says that single people must be gay, because I can guarantee you that is NOT THE CASE. Hell, I was dating a boy before I had the courage to leave him and date a girl.
That's a really ignorant argument.
Nothing makes anyone gay or straight.
Same reason why nothing makes me prefer the color red over the color yellow, or why you might prefer soccer over baseball.
It's a personal preference that one cannot change about oneself.
I prefer to be in the company of a woman. I want to spend the rest of my life with the girl of my dreams. I want to lift the veil of my bride's veil on our wedding day.
I reserve the right to do all those things.
Please, just let me be happy. Let me live my life.

Love is love, who has the right to say other wise? it's not like by letting gay's get married, you *become* gay. So just let people love who they wanna love! Simple as that.

THere is no legal/logical reasoning to deny people their Civil Rights. All of the "cons" of gay marriage are delineated from religion. This should have no bearing on the politics of our nation since we have separation of religion and state. Gay marriage ftw

A person's sexual preference doesn't change their humanity. If you don't like gay marrage, then don't get one. But give the ones who do the chance. Its not like hetero marraige always works out perfectly anyways.

I want to marry my girlfriend one day. I want to walk down the aisle is a strapless white dress, my dad leading me to the alter, and I want to kiss the girl I'm in love with. I want to grow old, with the marriage rights, by her side.

Gay people aren't lobbying to keep straight people from getting married, so clearly, they're the better people in this ridiculous argument.

Marriage is a personal way for two people to show their love for one another. It doesn't hurt me if gays want to marry.

For all of those people opposing homosexual marriage, how would you feel if there was no such thing as heterosexual marriage. If people were telling you that you couldn't marry your soulmate. How about reading comments that were comparing an opposite sex marriage to someone marrying their dog. Or that heterosexuality is to blame for all of our major historical downfalls. You'd feel pretty violated.
I am a 20 year old college student. I also work a full time job. I help my great grandparents and my neighbor with cancer in my spare time. I coach a 5th and 6th grade catholic basketball team. I love my family and friends and someday, I'll be lucky enough to meet the person I want to spend the rest of my life with. I hope when that happens, that I will have the right that I deserve to marry her.
