traditional marriage between and man and a woman only. Most homosexuals won't stay together anyway. If and when they do then maybe I'll reconsider.

All we are asking for equality. The right to do as we please just as you have the right to do. Heterosexuals are free to marry even though statistics show over 50% of "Traditional marriages" end in divorce. By your own standards heteorsexuals are the ones who shouldn't be allowed to marry. Now if the tables were turned would you still feel the same?
As far as I can tell gay people who are fighting for the right to marry are ones who have already spent a lifetime or are truly committed to spending a lifetime with their partners otherwise they wouldn't fight so hard for something if it weren't important to them.
Besides, who are you to decide that because someone might not stay together they shouldn't have the right to try. Most marriages end in divorce, so in that case all marriage should be outlawed.
I do believe that those who want to get married should have the freedom to do so. Two gay people getting married does not affect you in any way so why are you all so threatened by it? Whether you like it or not we are here, we are queer, and we aren't going away. We are fed up with your discrimination, bigotry, hate, and especially your HYPOCROSY! So deal with it, and get over yourselves!

It's Gods law. If he approved of gay relationships he would have made it so you could get pregnant through your butt.

Gay marriage is a topic that is merely a derailment from focal points that should actually be addressed within our community. It's like being at the scene of a crime and discussing whether pb&j or turkey sandwiches are better. Unless you're trying to make yourself feel ok about being gay, this is not even a question you think about much less care about.

This is not even a topic worthy of much discussion, so I will make it breif: the only people who care about gay marriage are gay people. It is not a cause worthy of any attention. It is as silly as nmbla trying to legalize child molestation. All your doing is wasting precious energy trying to convince people that your choice of perversion is not only ok but that it is somehow your human right to force everyone else to tickle your ears with approval for what the majority of us feel is a gross misconduct and violation of the natural affections we have been endowed with. It's not my fault your messed up and I shouldn't have to endure you embarressing yourself- and I certainly shouldn't have to abominate the sanctuary of marriage to appease you!

Everyone has a right to love who they love and to marry whomever they want to marry. You don't choose to be gay, people are born that way. And for those who believe in the bible or God, Jesus taught tolerance (I heard, anyway) and for those people who are denying people's basic right to be with who they love is the opposite of that. You people speak of compassion and yet, you are the least likely to give it.
Twenty to fifty years from now, the future will judge us about how we treated those that are different from us,and they will be ashamed of what our closed-minded society have done to hold people back, to deprive them of their right to be with who they love. So think, educate yourselves. You don't have to be happy about gay marriage, just don't deprive people of their right of it.

People used the same arguments about interracial marriage decades ago.
"It'll ruin the sanctity of marriage."
"God wouldn't allow this"
This is complete utter bullshit. The only people who ruin the sanctity of marriage are the ones who are privileged to do it. There's a 1 in 2 chance of couples getting a divorce. What happen to "till death do us part." Bunch of crap. Get over yourselves. They have to hide who they love so that you can feel "comfortable" about your life. Don't do things to other people that you wouldn't want happen to you. Being homophobic is just as bad as being racist and years from now people will look back and see how myopic this is. Equality for everyone.

Then why don't you just go lick a toilet bowl? Wouldn't that be about the same as licking someones private parts? Just askin?

Yes i am moving to the area next year and my partner and i are going to be getting married next yr. Every person anywhere should have a right without judgment to marry and live a wonderful life together.
