I've asked you and heart very simple questions and you refuse to answer. Something is wrong when you will stand up for homosexuality yet you won't stand up for Christianity.

Who said I wouldnt stand up for Christianity.... The bible assures us there is a time and place for everything.... This thread is neither the time nor place for a theological discussion since the subject of ssm has nothing to do with any persons theology.

well I don't think an internet msg board thread is quite what the bible was talking about. Bottom line, you won't stand up against homosexuality. The bible is clearly against homosexuality. Pathetic.

What I may or may not believe the Bible says is irrelevant to this thread.

Get back on track and argue the subject... SSM... which as I have mentioned has nothing to do with your, mine or anyones theological viewpoint.

hmmmm you mean you are for gay marriage but against group marriage? Wow such hypocrisy.
so you continue to guess what i think - and obviously you fail every time.

i have not stated an opinion in any way shape or form with regards to polygamy. this thread is not the forum to discuss that topic. if you want a discussion about polygamy (or any related term), then please, open a thread for it. until then, you won't know my thoughts about that topic.

and brian....i didn't realize i'd have to clarify my statement, but here goes - i'm for any single adult marrying another single non-related adult marrying someone of their choosing provided they both want to enter into a marriage. i do hope that's clear enough or you.

and again, that is NOT a statement whether or not i'm for or against any form of polygamy (or any other related term you choose to use for a group marriage). i am strictly discussing the topic of this thread an no other form of marriage. so don't make any assumptions about what i think.

ya neither one of you will stand up for your beliefs.
i've posted hundreds of times in this thread alone, standing up for my beliefs. against you, against brian and a handful of other posters. my ability and willingness to stand up for my beliefs are well documented.

you just get your panties ia was that my beliefs aren't the same as yours. you get upset that i can call myself a christian without having to force my belief upon anyone else via the laws of this nation. you're upset that we don't want to institute a theocracy in this country - we stand for the constitution. it's a pity that you get to enjoy the rights and priviliges afforded to you in the constitution and all of the amendments yet you still choose to attempt to force everyone into the same denomination you chose to follow - you don't want anyone else to follow their beliefs or any other denomination - just yours. and sorry pal, i've seen enough of that dark side from your chosen denomination over the years that i'd just as soon stay as far away from that denomination as possible. and with each post you put up here, the more you prove my point and confirm my opinion about your denomination you choose to follow.

That reminds me
I asked you previously "So do you follow everything the bible is agaisnt? or only that which backs your predjudices" to which you have yet to answer... so let me make it a bit easier for you

In your church... do the women participate AT ALL in the service...
Do they cover their heads when praying or at church
Does y0u church marry people who have been divorced for reasons other than infidelity?

i'm not the one tossing the bible into public secular laws.

you are.

since when is it written or interpreted in the constitution to make our form of government a theocracy? please, do show us with some evidence that our style of government has changed to a theocracy.

A) Just because we have in god we trust... does not make us a thecracy.
B) no I am merely pointing out sections of the Bible which most cafeteria christians ignore... all the while using the anti homosexual passages to uphold their prejudices.

I am afraid it is you who is watering down your faith.

that does not constitute a theocracy.

for once, please, just provide some proof that we are a theocracy and from what date forward we were a theocracy.

and need i remind you - there's been several court cases regarding mixing religion with public laws, public displays, etc. and every single time, the courts have ruled against those displays, those laws as they were based upon christian church canon.

it's absurd if you think everyone has to follow your choice of denomination. no where is it dictated that we have to. unless, of course, you're sticking with that theocracy thing you're thinking we follow.
