This country was found by Christian Men with Christian Standards. They believed in traditional marriages, and I do too.

The government does not have the right to legislate who people fall in love with, and want to spend their lives with. We were all made in God's image. Some people tend to forget that.

Would that be in the image of the God that made woman a help meet for man and united a man and a woman together in marriage?

Or is this some other god that goes completely against nature and lets people follow their own lust without condemnation?

Which god are you talking about?

Nope, sorry, I am not a flunkie like you. Our forefathers were Protestants which falls under Christianity, so maybe you need to hit the History books. Just because you do not believe in God, does not mean you have to deny the fact on what basis this country was found on.

It's amazing how ignorant you are....a perfect lazy gubberment leech.

Deism made its appearance in the 18th century. It was a religious movement, promoted by certain English and continental thinkers, that attracted a following in Europe toward the end of the 17th century and gained a small but influential number of adherents in America in the late 18th century. Deism rejected the orthodox Christian view of Christ, often viewing him as nothing more that a “sublime” teacher of morality.

Deism and some strains of “liberal religion,” which stressed morality and questioned the divinity of Christ, found advocates among upper class Americans, conspicuous among whom were Thomas Jefferson, John Adams and Ben Franklin, but supporters of these views were never more than “a minority within a minority” and were submerged by evangelicalism in the 19th century.

I don't think you're lazy, leechy, or anything like that. All I did was express my opinion. I am not gay, but I watched my allegedly Christian family turn their backs on my wonderful cousin just because he happened to be gay. I watched my talented cousin shrivel up within himself, and die because of my allegedly Christian family. He now lays in a grave with no headstone, because of those judgmental assholes. My cousin had more love in his heart than any of you Christians. I am Catholic, and I am ashamed of being so; after watching you people pass judgment. Don't hand me anymore shit about God or the Bible calling the gay and lesbian population damned. In the final analysis, I think you may have a lot more to worry about.

Like I said, I passed my History classes, and all the History books I read said our founding forefathers were Protestants, which falls under Christianity, and they believed in God and that the Bible was the Word of God. So go get a clue, get bent, laid, poled up your ass, whatever, but shut the fuck up liar, and do not ever call me lazy. I work for my keep, and am not lazy. Lazy is somebody who wakes up when the rooster crow until midnight stalking people on these forums, so it sounds like you are the lazy one
We had already established you were a lazy gubberment jobs program recepient, now you claim to be a delusional Xian as well...Bubba you just can't help but be a zero, zip, zilch!

This country was founed by people running from religous persecution. The founding fathers did not set up this country to persecute and deny others their rights.

What about the story of Sodom and Gemorrah. The people of Sodom tried to rape the 2 male angels. Is that proof enough that God hates homosexuality when he destroyed the 2 cities?

As for you Kelseysupporter, I have nothing against you, you and I have each others backs in the forums to which you know I speak of, and I have nothing against homosexuals personally for I have a friend who is gay. The church did your family member wrong. They are suppose to hate the sin, but love the sinner.

As for you Faith Healer, take your 8 foot poll, set it erected straight up, jump off your roof and land on it so it is up your ass and rips you in half. You are a leech, you are lazy, you are nothing but a sack of shit with no education. You think you have me figured out, when you dont asshole

That is true but there is no right to be a homosexual.

Which had it not been for political correctness and pressure from the homosexual lobbyist the Center for Disease Control would still have it on the list of mental disorders.

The rights they did not want denied were God given rights. God judge the sodomites for their sin of homosexuality just like he will judge everyone else for their sins.

In God's eye a stealing, lying, murder, homosexuality, and all others sins are judged equally.

The Bible doesn't say Jesus hates anyone only their sin.

Revelation 2:6 states, "But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate." And again in Revelation 2:15, "So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate."

Jesus said that He hated the "deeds" of the Nicolaitans, and their "doctrine." Please notice that Jesus DIDN'T say He hated the Nicolaitans (a false cult). Jesus loves all sinners, not because they are sinners, but because they are people with souls whom He loves.

Ezekiel 33:11, "Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel."

Romans 6:23, "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

God will judge people for their wicked way in which homosexuality is an abomination to God, a sin people will be judged for.

Romans 1:24, "Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:"

Romans 1:26-28, For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

Verse 31, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:

Because your family was that petty dont lay it at Christianitys door. The fact is gays and lesbians were damned by God in the Bible but...if someone wishes to be gay thats their chance to take if they anger God or not. christians are not called to judge which is where the fine line is. Christians should witness to gays but thats where it ends, the judgement and punishment is not theirs to dole out yet I see it all the time. My best friend is a gay man who I love and argue with on the same sex marriage issue but...we still love each other after. Thats the difference we can discuss differences without the name calling and petty crap. Truthfully same sex marriage is the least of our problems in America. like I told my friend from the beginning they dont just want same sex marriage. they want in our schools, teaching our children that its acceptable to be gay and even though my kids are not in public school thats the real issues. It is not normal and acceptable to teach my kids its ok to be gay! If it was just their choice and they wanted same sex marriage I would say go for it but its just a stepping stone and I have as much a right for my kids to believe its wrong and it is. why do they want to spread it seeing how they are being treated for being gay. My freind does not bring his gay lifestyle around me and I dont bring up my hetro relationship with my husband to him. So why do other gays feel the need to constantly expose us to all the details of their sex lives. Keep it to yourselves. I dont care what you do behinf closed doors.
