Listen to the LGBT crowd. They'll be happy to tell you that they were born that way. Give them enough time and they'll get around to telling you it's genetic. Okay! Genetic sounds great to me too. With the advent of Gay-Marriage in a long generation that claim may just remove the "LGBT-gene" from the gene pool altogether!

Of course if they are wrong and it's just a choice and not genetic then it would be just what they want... Go ahead and make it legal but even the LGBT crowd should be supporting the churches right to say no... Otherwise how can they expect support for themselves!

It cracks me up when people talk about how abnormal it is, and how immoral and abnormal the way they have sex is. PLEASE....there are plenty of straight couples having anal sex...the penis is still going into a hole that will not help procreation...and what about oral sex..please explain to me how that helps procreation. So I guess that all of you people who are saying that this is about procreation and 'normal' and 'abnormal' only ever have regular intercourse (vaginal) and NEVER have blowjobs or let your semen (the seed of procreation) go somewhere else on your partner than their vagina (the vessel of procreation)....and not ONE of you men have ever watched or enjoyed a porn or even the thought of two women together.....LIARS!!!!!

Marriage is a right. Two people who love each other should be allowed to get married, regardless of their gender.

marriage is a state ordained contract....why shouldn't it apply to anyone in love....those rights assigned, life insurance/health insurance/estate matters, once a vow is taken, should belong to all citizens.....

Everyone should be able to marry their soul mate. It shouldn't be an issue. Its that simple.

"Marriage" is a sacrament, between a man and a woman. If they want "civil unions" or the state to recognize them as a couple, I don't have a problem with that - I don't want the church to sanction it.
That's the major issue, the word. It's not equality if homosexuals aren't allowed to use the word "married" to describe their union. I think it should be allowed, let God decide what's right. Homosexuals are not demons or sinners any more than straight people. If you think they are going to Hell, then let them have what they want knowing that your eternal soul will not see them later. Unless you are afraid you are hellbound...

Unfortunately it's not just the church. The "church" has decided to involve the government, which is supposed to be separate. there are churches available, that openly would marry a homosexual couple, but they have been restrained because the government has been involved. Oppose it personally, but keep the government out of it. There are a LOT of Christian homosexuals. How do you think it makes them feel that some of their brothers and sisters in Christ want to condemn them for participating in a beautiful act of monogamy? Who are we to decide?
