They can't get married. We voted to ban it in our constitutional amendment a few years ago.

I believe this is a great idea. Let the gay people get married. When they want children they can foster and adopt all the children neglected by their drugged out or abusive parents.

Question for striker86... I can see that you are a bible thumping christian who probably wouldn't come within 20 yards of a gay person, so how do their choices or wants affect YOUR life?? So what if the religion you believe in says it is wrong? Their choice of religion may say it's right. This is what is called the FREEDOM of choice and who put you on a pedastool to judge???

I thinks as lond as your happy do your thing.. It might be wrong, they are the one gonna have to answer for what they do.. I support gay marriage, but I'm not gay!! Just because someone is gay doesn't mean they can't be happy.

for cinthia, that is not just my judgement it is the word of GOD , and the bible says it is a sin but Jesus died for all men and women, not just those that are not gay.If we confess our sins then he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrightousness. The key word in your question is religion, there are many religions but only one GOD IN WHOM WE MUST BELIEVE. there is many false religions but only one real and pure religion; The apostle James said- pure religion and undefiled before GOD is this,to vist the widows and orphans in thier aflictions and to keep himself unspotted from the world. As for me not getting close to these FRIENDS OF MINE, i hate to burst your bubble cinthia but i have family and friends that are gay but it dose'nt change the fact that it is still sin,not because someones religion may say it is alright but because the INFALIABLE WORD OF GOD SAYS SO.There is just one way,not my way or your way or the gays way but THE WAY-------JESUS.

If you look at the statistics in lesbian/gay marriages getting divorces the percentages are way up there. Especially lesbian marriage, it's OVER 100% of marriages didn't last. Gays is at 50%. When you get married you vow to stay with that person forever and the divorce rate is unbelievable. I think we should find one way to help make the number go down, and this is one way.

i dont think striker is trying to say that they SHOULDNT get married, its just that its not something to be proud of or something to make a process. and striker never said that he wouldnt go by a gay person. so that just came out of no where. and by the way i am a bible chrisitan. people should be treaten equally. and i have ntohing against gay. but gay marriage just is too sinful

oh but yes there is. google the united church of christ. the same church denomination that barack hussein obama used to attend. their policy is: open & LGBT couples and support gay marriage. i had read about it and couldn't believe it. so i went to the UCC in asheville to check it out. sure enough. men & men, women & women sitting close together. here is a link to asheville, but they all believe the same thing.
