I am a gay man and I demand my equal rights under our constitution for myself and my fellow gay brothers and sister here in this country and the rest of the world.

I believe marriage should be between two consenting ADULTS, not "man and woman." Marriage is not something strictly religious or "Godly," it is found all over the world. For someone to use religious reasonings (which is an oxymoron in of itself) to oppose gay marriage, then you are no better than the conquistadors who slaughtered hundreds of thousands, possibly millions, of Natives in the name of God.

So because you don't agree with gay marriage (and basically them having civil rights), you'd be willing to vote against it? That makes no sense!

We fall in love with who we fall in love with. It's our choice. Our life. And it's what makes us happy.

People should be able to marry whoever they want. Either it's a guy and guy or girl and girl. Love is love.

Because everyone deserves the right to love. The majority can never overpower the minority.

All these religious people saying that gays aren't supposed to maryy because "God" doesn't approve of it. I laugh at you.
I'm pretty sure "God" has mentioned something about accepting people for who they are.
Inequality is crap.

I'm a mathematician and believe in the truest, strictest, meaning of the word equality. Some of us are not more equal than others. I paraphrase of course.

no it goes against the natural order of things.
God created male and female for a reason. It take the two to produce three.
It same through out the life cycle. Animals as well as human being.
True love is Christ centered and the bible speak plain against homosexuals.
Rom 1:26 For this reason God gave them up to evil passions, and their women were changing the natural use into one which is unnatural:
Rom 1:27 And in the same way the men gave up the natural use of the woman and were burning in their desire for one another, men doing shame with men, and getting in their bodies the right reward of their evil-doing.
Rom 1:28 And because they had not the mind to keep God in their knowledge, God gave them up to an evil mind, to do those things which are not right;

People can marry first cousins but homosexual marriage isn't supported? Please. If people want to get married, it's not hurting anyone other than people who are too stuck-up and self-important and afraid to matter.

Gay marriage, whats the big deal? It's not your life.
why make others life miserable on purpose? because you don't approve? It was exactly the same when blacks weren't allowed to marry whites, but now it's acceptable. Like anything else in this world it will take time to getting use to. Eventaully nobody will even think twice about gay marriages.

To all you who dont agree, its a matter of love for one another! who care about what you believe in. i think you people are so unhappy with you own lifes. everyone should have the same right to marry who they want too. I always suported gay rights, and i just found out my own son is gay.Im proud to say! so dont sit there and judge. If or when he ever decides to marry,i want my son to have the same right! we are not in the stone ages, times and laws are changing.

If a couple decides to get married, whether they are gay or straight, it is NO ONE'S business but their own.

Religious beliefs and rules are for people specifically of that religion and no one else.

They are not the law of the land

This is America, the land of the free, where justice wears a blindfold, blind to Race, Creed, Color, Sex, Religion, Orientation or National Origin.

As a patriot to the ideals of this nation, I support same sex marriage, although it would not affect me or anyone in my family ( that I am aware of ) it doesn’t matter, I support my fellow Americans regardless of if they are different from myself.

All patriots should support same sex marriage
