One example is the second section of the 14th Amendment, then if you read the whole document you learn, there is no gender equality right in the Constitution.

Only in the sense that when the 14th was written, women did not yet have the right to vote. The provisions of Section 2 were meant to address the original Constitution that apportioned Representatives based on the population of free whites, and of 3/5 of the black slave population. What is wrong with polygamy? Oh, the form practiced by the FLDS has some very serious problems, like forced marriages of underage girls, but if we are talking about polygamous marriages between consenting adults, why is there a problem?

The standard is equal protection.

By that same logic the Constitution says there is no racial equality.
But, stupid Brian, the section you are talking about was describing how the number of reps are determined, not about people's rights.
