Anyone who thinks some people deserve certain rights above others are plain-old idiots.

WHY YOU DON'T SAY. Good thing it's genetic variance is a consistent percentage. And even though the world population will never be gay, there will ALWAYS be closeted religious wackos who continue to procreate. Whatev.

It is my fervent psychological and fact based knowledge that all humans are born asexual, with the genetic and hormonal makeup that will determine their sexuality when they hit puberty. You're born with the chemicals that will tell your body who you are attracted to. You have NO control over it. Just like you have no control if your body decides that those hormones will be used to no avail and determine whether or not you remain asexual. Just like you hav eno control if your body decides that those hormones will be non-binary and allow bisexuality, demisexuality, and pansexuality, etc.
We can't expect people to understand that facts and scientific proof are conclusive and definitive. That's why our country is a laughing stock; not because we allow people to express themselves, however "flaming" they wish to be.(I know many gay men, and I would only classify two as being "flaming") and not because we want them to have rights. Our country is a laughing stock because we're constantly calling ourselves the smartest most advanced nation, and we still can't accept science /and/ we still can't allow everyone freedom.
We are NOT a free country.

No one should get in the way of somebody else's happiness.
What was it the Declaration of Independence says? "Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness"? Wow, look at that.

What two people do in their personal lives has absolutely no relation to what you do with yours. Support all marriage, no matter what.

I just happened to come across this and wanted to bring to light and its very obvious in these comments alone that gay people are peaceful people. When all other groups who have been discriminated against formed gangs and became violent.

I'm excited to see the day when your fat white country butt gets shot by a man in a rainbow bandana <3 It's only a matter of time before they're fed up. When talking doesn't work violence will surely do.

Marriage is a binding contract which confers both civil rights and spousal privileges that safe guard your family, your property and the inheritance you choose to leave to your spouse. This is not an ideological issue -- so long as individuals are prohibited from marriage due to sexual preference -- they are are second class citizens. Not only is that unethical, its unconstitutional. People have the right to love who they love -- and as an American citizen they have the right of equal protection under the law -- and that includes contract laws such as marriage! When the freedom of one is stolen, the freedom of all is diminished.

If two people want to legally accept the responsibilities of marriage, I'm not going to stand in their way. Why would I?

A human being has the right to marry another human being. Marriage is for two people who love each other even if its two men or two women. 60 years ago we'd be debating about interracial marriage.
