it is the most sickening thing there is !! and to let this trash adopt innocent children is beyond me. As a christian its hard to love these things, but I pray for myself to be able to!!

Why is it so bad that loving people are allowed to adopt children who need homes? I'd much rather see a child go to a loving, devoted couple who can give them everything they need in life than watch a child spend years in orphanages and shunted from one foster home to the next only to age out of the system and have no where to go.

Christians are taught to not hate anything or anyone and as a Christian you shouldn't be calling ANYONE trash.

I have several gay friends, they are ALL good people. We are NOT here to judge others lifestyle, that is up to God not us. I firmly believe if you love someone you love them. The heart can not help who it loves so marriage is about loveing someone unconditionally. Stop judging!!

I have several friends that are gay and they are good people. They love others and treat others with respect. There are some GAY people in this world that have done alot for our area then most non gay people. I too am a Christian. However I was raised that you dont turn your back on ANYONE, you dont JUDGE others. You love everyone the same even when you are done wrong. God handles what needs to be handled. We are to support and care for others. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you!! I love both my gay & straight friends and will stand by them aa they have stood by me in times of happiness and trouble. There are rapist, child abusers, and murderers out in the world, how bout turning your focus on them!! Ya know something more important. Gays arent hurting anyone with their life style choice but but the rapist, child abusiers and murderers do.

People should be able to make the lifelong committment of marriage to the person that they love. Gay marriages have a better rate of staying together that straight marriages.

I would question your faith if you claim yourself a christian and support homosexuality. If you are a christian, you should know better. Repeating what God says in his word is not judging. Just because it feels good is not a reason. If so then lets legalize theft, murder, rape. We are to let people know its wrong. Do you let a child know when they do wrong? Is that judging. Most people that bring up "dont judge" are not christians. You have no idea what scripture says.

First, since we are not a theocracy, it doesnt matter what scripture says.

Second, any one who uses the Bible to justify their position is most likely a hypocrite. I say this because you use it to rail against ssm... not good according to God, yet you ignore or do not speak up against other things Most christian do or know people who a go against what the Bible says, yet they, the "christian" keep quiet about their bretherens behavior.. Prime example... divorce and remarriage. According to the Bible, there is only one acceptable reason for both... infidelity. In fact, Jesus, who never EVER said one thing about homosexuality let alone ssm, spoke directly to the issue of divorce and remarriage. Yet as you go to church, my bet is you know several people divorced for non infidelity reasons... yet you call them christians. You probably know many people in the congregation on their 2nd marriage after a non infidelity related divorce... yet you do not question their statement that they are christians. You sit and listen to a minister who tells you what the Bible says about homosexuals and how ssm is a sin... yet If you talk to him, he as done many many 2nd marriages for people who are divorced for non infidelity reasons. Basically he aided and abetted adultery... yet you still call him a christian... dont you.

If they love eachother and want to take the next step, why not? Let them be miserable like the rest of half of America's married families :-)(lol) seriously though, I know gay couples who have been more true and more devoted to their partners than any married couple or dating couple I've ever known. Even more so than couples who have been married 20+ years, who secretly despise their spouse. I've seen men leave wives of several years to finally "come out of the closet" after wasting the womans time leaving her hurt from those years of thinking she was unattractive or wasn't good enough for him because after they were married he quit looking at her the same and the intimacy was gone after she had children........the stubborness of people who oppose gay marriage and the discrimination of homosexual individuals have led to people hiding who they are, people have commited suicide because of the bullying from so-called Christian's. The thought of someone not being able to live with who they really are because of society is a horrible thought to me that I would like to avoid, but sadly people are too opinionated

I for one am glad I left this narrow minded, backward town. I say the residents should have their own sort of Amish rumspringa and spend sometime outside of Randolph Co. They might find being classy is more than asking for sour cream on their baked potato.

I grew up in the closet, doing what everyone expected me to do. Getting married and being miserable and then ending in divorce all because I felt I needed to do the "Christian" thing and live a cookie cutter life. I'll support any of my LGBT friends in their desires to be married.(for those of you Clampets...that stands for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender).

For those of you who say good ridance to me....trust me, I have no desire to come back
