Maybe having your father abandon you before you were born can lead to a lack of understanding when it comes to marriage.

Most black fathers abandon their children, mine did. I think it's genetically programmed into them. But us black mothers always stand true!

Michael, unfortunately with organizations like Louisiana Family Forum, Family Research Council, CCC, Family Association, Old white citizens council, Governor Jindal, Fleming, Smith and many others marriage equality is proving to be difficult. We need more people to speak out against these kinds of organizations so that the state is absolutely clear on our intentions to receive marriage equality. Where as I respect everyone's right to their opinion. I refuse to respect those who continue to allow discrimination based on sexual preference. Please research these organizations, call and write your local and state elected officials with your concerns. Forming a support group to help activate your voice and requests during the legislative process will also help.

Don't you believe a song would be considered "taking it way too far"? This is clearly a "hate campaign"! People need to wake up and become more involved! These type of organizations are ultimately dangerous to our society as a whole.

The SCOTUS is doing much of that for us.
