I personally oppose gay marriage, unless (case by case basis) the couple in question is able - without any outside medical interference - to produce a natural child of their union (production and support of progeny is the only reason for marriage). I deny that government has ANY PLACE WHATSOEVER in marriage of ANY SORT. This is a religious issue and should be thrown out of whatever federal venue within which it arises.

So, in your eyes, a heterosexual couple who marry and have kids, yet don't properly raise those kids, lack of attention, abuse, etc, have more of a right to marriage than two loving homosexuals who would raise that child with love and affection, and give it all of the advantages of life? I'm not saying that all heterosexuals are bad parents, and I'm not saying all homosexuals are good parents, but in that scenario, the heterosexual couple has more of a right?

Which is more important, making babies or raising them?

Furthermore, you have to have purchased and registered a civil license to be married in the US, so yes, it is a civil matter.

Two people's love is their business, and their business alone. I see no reason how homophobic people are affected by gay marriage in any way. It's two people, getting married. It's against your religion? Well according to the same religion, slavery was allowed, women didn't have equal rights as men, and you're put to death for working on the sabbath. Stop holding civil rights back, give them the right. It's none of your business in the first place.

because no one should decide who someone is aloud to love. If a man can marry a pillow and a woman can marry the Eiffel tower, than a man should be able to marry a man and a woman should be able to marry a woman

Love is love. That's all that should ever matter. You can't say things like God hates fags. God loves us all. Each and every last one of us. He loves in everything we are and through every sin we commit. But God also made us the way we were meant to be. We are who we are and God loves every single one of us. Even the ones who judge and hate and say it's wrong to be gay. Well news flash: It's wrong to hate. Love all of Gods creations and let them be who they are.

Is it really that difficult to understand that two people of the same gender can love each other?

Marriage should be about romantic love, not gender or sexual desire. The reasoning behind anti-homosexual relationships and marriage equates to saying you're only with your partner for the sex. It's degrading and offensive, and it technically means you view your partner as property. Grow up, get real, get educated, and keep religion away from our bodies and our romantic happiness.

I see no reason why it is anyone else's business who marries whom. Get your act together and mind your own business

Everyone has the right to find love "If you don't like gay marriage, don't get gay married."

What is there to explain? Just because we live in America doesn't mean we have the freedom to decide who is allowed to be happy.
