because two dude being together doesnt bother anymore than a dude and a chick. people need to get off they're high horse and realize that things are not in their control and that just because life failed for them doesnt mean other people shouldnt have the right.

get over yourself you religious piece of shits. "god" doesnt hate, it's not what he does. you're being pretentious pretending you think you know what god wants.

using the bible is an excuse for your own insecurity.

What if you were born into a world where you were told who you could and could not love? That's messed up.. Love is love.

This opposition to allowing people to freely love one another is completely ludicrous. We, as a nation, were able to accept interracial marriage after a number of years, and now it is time to spread the same acceptance to the gay community. Everyone is given the right to love whom they wish, and you know what, that won't affect your life at all. If you don't like gay marriage, don't get one.

Because love have no identity, and I myself know this. I love both women, and men.

Marriage isnt something that originated in Christianity, so it doesnt just belong to them. Everyone should be allowed to love who they want, and they should be allowed to marry who the want regardless of gender or religion.

if two people of the same sex want to be united, so be. but find another term to describe and leave marriage as it is established: one man and one woman. anything else is NOT a marriage. and that has nothing to do with religion, it simply is not the same and should not have the same definition.

Here is the problem... marriage is as much a legal term as it is a state of being. The LAW gives certain privledges to married couples. Marriage is simply a civil legally binding contract. As a contract it is gender neutral, party of the first part party of the second. So unless you can figure out a way to change all the laws to include the "new" term you choose for ssm and give it all the legal standing of the word marriage.. marriage is the term to be used. Words change.. has from the begining of time...
