you need to straighten up.... the Lord rebuke you and make it real tough in your church.... to say that God made you gay is a lie from the pit of hell.... you better take your warning because the Lord is about to rebuke you beyond repair... so don't whine and complain when you get sent to the pit.

Nor do I condone child molestation, stealing ,raping, murder anything that is considered rebellion or sin against God .... it will all separate you forever from God.

If I were GLB, I would want to solidify my union with my partner. If the State doesn't recognize it, form a Partnership - PLLC. They must recognize that. I get the religious point of view, to a point... But isn't there supposed to be a separation of Church & State? It is the State recognizing the marriage... The ceremony just sometimes ends up in a church. Which is not my idea of a beautiful ceremony... I think outdoor ceremonies are the best, enjoying Mother Nature's beauty. I don't think people have a right to inquire about my sexual encounters or what I do behind closed doors nor anybody else's. Just as my religious beliefs are just that... MINE. Everyone has a right to choose!

Let them marry but NEVER give gays any rights. No insurance etc., I think it's Virginia is blocking everything for gays. So let them marry but block all rights they would have in a normal man and woman marriage. Not a gay basher but no rights!!
That's just plain wrong too. Everyone should have equal rights... And the separation of Church and State should be recognized & followed.

Amen! Although I am straight, I do believe in equality and in the Separation of Church and State. Seems as if people forgot about that from
high school Government class. And seems as if they forgot what happens when one cast stones in a glass house! I say empower yourself, be yourself... If you don't, you will more than likely not love yourself. Peace Love Happiness

Here is the deal.. yea you can get a pplc, or get certain legal documents that get you some of the things that married couples get by saying I do. However...
A) you have to spend extra money and effort to get what they get for free.
B) a pplc or legal documents still will not make you equal. You still do not get the same federal benefits, you still do not get the same legal benifits... i.e. right not to testify against your spouse.... along with various other rights.

There is no good reason ANYONE on these threads have shown that make denying rights to two u.s. citizens that other two citizens get by getting married acceptable.

Two hens can and they don't need a rooster to lay eggs. In fact, in the absence of a rooster a dominate hen may start crowing.

Marriage is a sacrament of God for the procreation of the human race, not for the object of finding a best friend. Homosexuals cannot procreate and it is a perversion of man.

Really...
Then since Athiest dont believe in God... they can not be married...
If ANYONE from a not Judeo Christian religion wants to be married they can not.
I mean neither group believes in the Judeo Christian God.. so cant have a sacrement of something you do not believe in....

I guess that also means the following can not marry...
Inferttile couples...
Couples where one of the two is "fixed"
post menopausal women
I mean since "Marriage is a sacrament of God for the procreation of the human race", and all of the above can not produce anymore children than a ssm (natually that is ), then you must deny them marriage... right.

I'm a lesbian and have a beautiful fiancée I plan on marrying. We live in south MS and I believe our marriage, as well as fellow lesbians and gays marriages, are just as valid as heterosexual marriages.

<quoted text>
First of all you don't know who Jesus is. Jesus is God. Jesus said before Abraham was "I AM" God is the one that gave the law before he came as Christ. The only way to get free of that law is to accept Calvary and repent, be baptized in his name and receive his spirit. Otherwise the law is for the sinner. So don't twist the word of God to make homosexuality ok.
That is a contradiction. In the Bible, one part says Jesus and God are not the same, and in another part it says they are one. The Bible contradicts itself on many things. It can't even tell you if God made Adam first or the animals because at first it says he created the animals and then Adam so he can look after them, then it later says he created Adam and then the animals so he could have companions. If you knew your Bible and the times that it was written in, you'd know that masturbation and homosexuality were both considered sins because of was considered murder. They didn't know how reproduction worked and they believed sperm was the sole being of life and any spillage of sperm was a sin and murder. That's the sole purpose for those two things to be sins. Educate yourself and use common sense before using a fictional book as your moral code and the reason for your ignorance.
