I created no definition, I just stated the core essence of marriage, and gay couples clearly not only don't qualify, they specifically are disqualified out of all other relationships!
Based on the breadth of ALL history in ALL countries and ALL cultures, this blip of social manipulation will be brief.
I'm not irked, you are. In fact, it's clear I annoy the hell out of your gay charade.
Sorry.
Smile.
I beg to differ. You did create your own definition--one that no one supports. In order for it to be a universally accepted truth, you would have to have at least more than one person supporting it. And, to date, that hasn't happened.

The only thing that irks me about you is your continued attacks on gays and lesbians as being poor parents, broken individuals, and evolutionary genetic defects.

From all of your responses on here it is blatantly obvious that you know nothing about the scientific process or reading professional articles.

You stupidly read articles that you obviously can't grasp. You can't understand and critically analyze the information. You look at a title and cherry-pick a few lines from the article. It's kind of the same way you read the Books of the Bible.

Your ignorant and irresponsible comments impact others. But you don't care about that.

The only reason you're here is to selfishly keep gay people from having the same rights as you. Well, that and we're the only gay hang-out club where you can allow yourself to come to.

Admit it... You'll never have an impact on same-sex marriage. You're in a losing battle. The world is embracing equal rights for LGBT people.

Like some kind of psychic, you claim this will be a blip. Really? And what do you base this on? Is racial equality a blip? Is women's equality a blip?

I wonder what other "social manipulations" you believe will be blips.

Honestly, I don't care. You are a small man in a massive world. Your opinions are pretty much meaningless.

With all due respect to your opinion about my influence, if the core essence of marriage I state is inaccurate, there would be no problem correcting it. You can't because it is pure truth.

If you are the only person I've confronted with reality, then I have done something good. You will never rest easy in your deception. You may be out of the closet, but I'm in yours.

Firstly, each one of us who have corrected your "definition" of marriage have done so because we find it to be inaccurate.

Fact: Marriage in this country is a legal contract between two unrelated, consenting adults.

And since I know what time zone you live in, I know that you get up awfully early in the morning to post many of your comments. It seems that you are the one who has trouble resting easily.

Finally, your last comment speaks volumes about you.

You're "in my closet". What a field day Dr. Freud would have with that!

It's clear you have a problem correcting it.

It's not a difficult point;

At it's most basic essence, marriage is a cross cultural constraint on evolutionary mating behavior.

This clearly makes gay couples a direct defective failure of the core goal of evolution. Literally 'unmarriage'.

Doesn't mention adultery though, does it?

Your point?

I'm sorry, I missed all those 'corrections'. Could you clarify them for me?

If marriage is only a legal contract to you, no problem, just get a contract.

However, at it's most basic essence, marriage is a cross cultural constraint on evolutionary mating behavior.

Gay couples are clearly a direct defective failure of the very core goal of evolution. At the most, you could only call gay unions 'unmarriage'.

You ASSume to know a lot about me. Maybe you are in MY closet?

"There are none so blind as those who do not see." (John Heywood 1546)

You have access to TOPIX archives. Go back and look at all of the reasons people are married that have nothing to do with your idiotic and contrived "definition".

And I wouldn't venture into your closet--though it's nice to see you finally admit to having one. From all that I've read, your closet is pretty full.

You should be more careful. There's a tremendous amount of information out there about you--stuff that I had no idea could be obtained through a simple google search.

None of those equate gay couples to the basic essence of marriage; a cross cultural constraint on evolutionary mating behavior.

As to closets, are you referring to the letter addressed to the White House?

What are you insinuating???

Oh! So now all of sudden you remember the other definitions of marriage--all of the other bases that two people would become married.

You keep coming back to your own, hackneyed, contrived, and ridiculous definition--making the argument that all marriages must be based on it.

Do you remember when you became married? Did your application for a marriage certificate mention any thing at all about it having to be based on "a cross cultural constraint on evolutionary mating behavior"?

Of course you'd be lying if you claimed that you had to meet such an expectation in order for you to marry.

What you don't seem to want to recognize is that people can and do get married for a variety of reasons. And in this country the laws are set up so that people can marry pretty much whomever they please.

And, no, I'm not talking about the letter to the White House. I'm talking about everything else available on the Internet about you.

I would never act on any of this information--never.

But I'm not so sure others won't. I guess that's the risks you take when you put yourself out there and then piss people off.

I don't know how that guy from "house of Israel" got all of your personal information. I didn't even know it was possible to get that kind of info. I was pretty shocked, to be honest.

But obviously, you pissed him off royally. And he launched an all out war against you and your family, didn't he?

I'm surprised that you didn't take legal action against him. It has to be humiliating to know that almost all of your personal information is out there--dirty laundry and all--is out there for folks to see.

Is that why you're so driven--so bitter? Is that why you come here day after day to try to boost yourself up? Is that why you fight so hard--because in the past you lost on such a grand scale?

Just trying to figure you out... The picture has become so much clearer day by day.

Thousands of SS couple still married, in spite of your regurgitation. I wonder why the states that have legal SSM are still ignoring you????

Oh, it's because you keep trying to hit the "pause" button while the rest of society is hitting the "play" button.

So why does a man up and leave a 20 year pastorate, leave Hawaii, and move to Tennessee? Further, what turns that man from an alleged caring person into a total Kuntmare?

There must be a good story there. It'll come out, eventually.

You responded to the basic essence of marriage by stating it had been 'corrected' numerous times. Noting other statements about marriage does not 'correct' anything. None of those changed the basic essence of marriage.

Bottom line? You have failed to establish why gay unions out of all relationships should be equated to marriage.

What I do remember on my marriage license is 'bride & groom'. However, by your 'logic', unless every aspect of marriage is listed, anything can be added to marriage. A stupid and childish argument.

As to 'sonne of mann', don't act so sanctimonious. You participated in ignorant slander. I was protecting a woman and her four sons from a psychotic predator. My family and I do willingly pay a price. The legal and mental health professions have been involved, and he has spent time in jail as a result.

Here is the clicker; You have no argument with reality, so you align yourself with a man talking King James English who wears a long white robe and lets his hair and beard grow. Just another reality check on how low you stoop to justify a imposter relationship because of a defective condition.

You only validated my position VV.

Thanks!

That, or you realized you opinions were completely out of touch with the UCC. You probably realized that most pastors are compassionate people, and you're just a school-yard bully.
