Marriage is the epitome of loving so much that you want to spend the rest of your life together. Why deny that freedom from anyone>

The concept that marriage is an institution built on the sole idea that a man and a woman will procreate is rudimentary. This idea is illogical because a percentage of the population is infertile. Unless there is some secret clause on a marriage license stating that if you don't have kids, your marriage is an abomination, I will be in full support of giving gay people the right to get married.

There is no argument against it that isn't based on religion or just general bigotry (which, in turn, came from religion).

Whether or not you approve of gay marriage, or your religion approves, shouldn't influence what other people are allowed to do. Many religions ban eating pork, but I'm still allowed to put pepperoni on my pizza.

I'm Gay and I would like to think in todays day and age same sex couples would be granted the same rights as straight couples (I'm from Canada and its sad to see that in the US gay marriage is still an issue). Like whoppie says "if you're afraid of gay marriage don't marry a gay person".

its not right and everyone knows that. what you do privately keep it private. But to say its ok, to say is correct, is not telling the truth. It is not natural to do that and everyone knows that.

Gay people are born gay, its not a choice. To say its not correct Sarah is basically saying you expect gay people to live a life without love and happiness. I think you are entitled to your opinions as am I, but I don't agree with the statement "but to say its ok, to say is correct, is not telling the truth". I think being openly gay is telling the truth, and I don't think gay people should suppress there natural tendencies to make other happy.
