Oh, that would not be good, since I am heterosexual. Does being sentenced to prison also mean being sentenced to a same-sex marriage? Who knew?

A cat may love a fish but nothing will ever come of it. I have no problem with gay's personal life style choices and have many gay couple close friends who understand my opinion. However, I am against changing marriage law's for their benefit, the results of which can so widely and negatively affect the educational, religious, and political landscape of any nation.

Exactly what negative effect would allowing two u.s. citizens to enjoy the same rights and priveldges of being married have on the education, religious and political landscape..... this should be good

Love is Love. Everyone has a right to be happy. People who shout hate are the biggest sinners of all.

The jokes on you; unless Texas licenses same sex marriage you're safe from coerced prison marriage; God bless Texas!

Same sex marriage would create wasteful entitlement spending for same sex marriage beneficiaries, and higher taxes to pay for it all.
Gay people just want to be with their partner. Your stance is lame.

Polygamists just want to be with their partners; this argument is lame. Just like adult brother/sister incest couples just want to be with their partners.

You aren't mean, keeping marriage male/female; no law is stopping gay people from being with their partners. What they don't get to do is rewrite marriage law for everyone.

Better than that, many Texan gays want to keep marriage law as is, for husbands and wives and mothers and fathers.

Why can't they marry?

Texan gays said that? Prove it.

What about husband and wife who constantly cheat with their lovers?

Look at the divorce rate.

Look at child support and dead beat parents.

Just like wives who have affairs and have babies from other men and are supported by their own husband.

Go to a child crisis center where parents leave their children there so they can go party.

Gay couples can help with children needing love.

This is a free country and people should have the freedom to marry gay or not.
How would you like it if we took your freedom away? You wouldn't!

You are old fashioned and religion has no factor here. But that will change and you shall see. Religion is dying out and things will change.

They can't get a marriage license because Texas law protects marriage for men and women, mothers and fathers, to become husbands and wives. This way, society encourages parents to care for their own children.

This is F***ING BULLS***!

First of all, You have people have no right to get in peoples private lives because of your beliefs. That makes you a bigot.Second of all, you people are making STUPID ASS arguments about if everyone is gay then humans would not exist. Your either making it up or got it from a PARONOID, IGNORANT PREJUDICE BIGOT. You people have been sadly brainwashed by ignorant people who don't care about anyone else and think of themselves as higher than anyone else.

Stop trying to control people and worry about your own lives. THANKS!

Keep marriage as is, one man and one woman. Your private life is your own business and the law is every citizens business.

Do you think your neighbors might be more accepting if you stop suing them?

you are an arrogant, rude, mean, person who wants to pick fights with people because they don't belive the same things that you do. Don't you have something better to do with your life?

And FYI, I never called you stupid, I said YOUR ARGUMENT was stupid. Don't get it twisted.

Yet there are many abortions and unwanted children. Also divorce rates are very high. So I guess Texas has it wrong.
