Ill never understand why individuals like Brian think the left "wants to control every aspect of life", when the right feels it has the right to control this issue.
marriage is most certainly sacred. Whether its between a man and a woman or a man and a man.
Also, is this the same Brian who talks out his ass on the farmington NM forum?

It's because the left feels it must redefine family and marriage, creates welfare models that drive fathers away from their children and wants to destroy every cultural institution except government. The left wants to control your relationship with your employer, what you what to eat, how to carry your groceries home from the store and the energy you use.

Oh okay, kinda sounds like the party of small government wants to control what people do in the privacy of their own home, who they love and who they marry, but I guess you know better. Good luck with your groceries

The issue isn't freedom; no conservative objects to your religious same sex marriage ceremony, travel to a jurisdiction that licenses SSM for your wedding ceremony or same sex cohabitation. The issue is forcing the government to see man and woman as interchangeable or disposable in marriage.

The party of big government wants to create a new standard of gender segregation in marriage and the people say, "No!"

If we took your comment back to say 1840 it would read" The issue isn't about freedom for slaves.. Travel to a state where slavery is illegal,(or after dred scott canada), but if you are in a state where slavery is legal... sorry you are slave."
Why should they have to give up the same right thatyou h ave to have their marraige license accepted and transferable to every state in the union?

Oh btw when are you going to admit you lied when you said that Mark Sanford resigned for being a heterosexual.... lie after lie after lie with you...

I'm glad Mark Sanford won the election; the people don't hold his heterosexual behavior against him.

Since when was cheating "heterosexual" behavior...
it is scum bag behavior, true.. but both homosexuals and heterosexuals can be unfaithful...
So when are you going to admit you lied. That he did not resign for heterosexual behavior.. but because he was a cheating scumbag.

Brian you're a creep. A new standard of segregation? No conservative objects to a gay man or woman getting married? You're dumb as shit too. If its all inclusive then there is no segregation. The left wishes for all americans to be equal, and be able to be married without being subject to discrimination based on things like race, creed, or orientation. If its segregated it isn't all inclusive. If You really ought to take the time to understand the meaning of the words you use.

Exactly, there's no Conservative advocating against letting people practice their religion or proscribing travel to a jurisdiction that licenses same sex marriage.

^^^An Ad Hominem is a general category of fallacies in which a claim or argument is rejected on the basis of some irrelevant fact about the author of or the person presenting the claim or argument. Typically, this fallacy involves two steps. First, an attack against the character of person making the claim, her circumstances, or her actions is made (or the character, circumstances, or actions of the person reporting the claim). Second, this attack is taken to be evidence against the claim or argument the person in question is making (or presenting.

Same sex marriage is gender segregation marriage by definition. Before the 21st Century, all marriage law defined marriage as gender integrated.

All Americans aren't equal, there's no gender equality right in our Constitution. Adults aren't equal to children, by Turbo's reasoning, pedophilia marriage and polygamy would be legal.

Apartheid South Africa was all inclusive, we don't want that standard in America.

Section two of the 14th Amendment explicitly gives rights to adult males and not to females or minors. There is no gender equality right in the Constitution.

Mark Sanford resigned because of inappropriate heterosexual behavior. Thank goodness, the people of South Carolina didn't hold that against him in the election.

Those rights given are then given to women in a seperate amendment.. thus your statement is a lie... go figure

^^^I hope you'll learn, ad hominem insult isn't rational argument. I understand we disagree but that's no reason to disregard the principles of logic.

Turbo seems to be another gender segregation supporter unable to verbalize reasons for his beliefs. Instead, he defames his political opponents.

BTW, C.o.n. knows the amendment granting women the vote says nothing about gender equality. There is no gender equality right in the US Constitution.

Brian you REALLY need to see someone about your incensent need to lie... It is really troubling to us all that you feel a need to lie so much.

WHERE DOES IT SAY WOMEN ARE NOT EQUAL... I keep asking you to grow a pair and answer that question. You say that it is because they were not mentioned in the 2nd section of the 14th which dealt with voting rights... That was resolved with the 19th ... so WHERE DOES THE CONSTITUTION SAY WOMEN ARE NOT EQUAL?

I want to discuss what we're going to do about same sex marriage supporters in Obama's IRS leaking the taxpayer returns of marriage protectors. The IG calls them, "Tea Party", but we know them as conservatives and sometimes, Republicans.

http://www.treas.gov/tigta/auditreports/2013r...

Tell me if you think we should have a special prosecutor to investigate.

Let's discuss the behavior of same sex marriage supporters here. Do you think it's OK to leak confidential taxpayer information and use the IRS to intimidate political opponents?
