<quoted text>I've never insulted gays, I always write there is nothing wrong with homosexuals or homosexuality. That's no reason to rewrite marriage laws for everyone.
Procreation is not a requirement for marriage or vice versa. Your opinion of marriage being the best way doesn't matter when it comes to freedom.

Of course its a reason to rewrite laws if it is discriminitory to a portion of the population.

I see same sex marriage supporters write that all the time but I've never claimed procreation is a prerequisite for marriage. Procreation is a benefit from marriage; do you realize children raised by their married mothers and fathers tend to have better outcomes than children raised by one parent or foster parents.

This issue isn't about freedom, everybody in Colorado has the right to religious same sex marriage or to travel to a jurisdiction that permits same sex marriage and have their ceremony in that state. What you don't have is gender equality rights or the right to redefine marriage for everyone.

We discriminate all the time; gays discriminate against women and lesbians discriminate against men; there's nothing wrong with homosexuals or homosexuality. Law discriminates against lawbreakers; that's life.

Keeping marriage as one man and one woman is tough love. Gays in Jamaica face felony charges for their love; let's work together so homosexuals are treated with human rights and not worry about fake gender equality rights and same sex marriage.

JUSTICE ALITO: Suppose we look just at the estate tax provision that's at issue in this case, which provides specially favorable treatment to a married couple as opposed to any other individual or economic unit. What was the purpose of that? Was the purpose of that really to foster traditional marriage, or was Congress just looking for a convenient category to capture households that function as a unified economic unit?
From the DOMA arguments, on the merits.

I'm confused. The in the above statement Alito is speaking against DOMA it seems, which is really surprising.

Marriage is a sacret bond between MAN AND WOMAN. The confused people that try to say that it is natural and they sould be able to marry the same sex are just that, confused. Also there is Leviticus 18:22. If you do not know what that is, pick up a bible... it will do you some good,,,

"Marriage is sacred", that was Obama's view of marriage before his conversion.

You should try to find the best reasons possible; look at the tax implications of same sex marriage.

Then you should also be opposed to the tax implications of more straight people marrying.

Homosexuals have equal rights now, to marry in Colorado under the same laws as everyone else. Homosexuals have married, changing marriage laws to satisfy sexual predilection would be double-dipping.

Same sex marriage would increase the size and scope of government to regulate marriage allowing gender segregation; that's bad for the taxpayer and everyone else.

In 29 states, you can be fired for being fat. The issue isn't freedom to be homosexual, you have that in every state. The issue is coming out to your boss, coming on to the power structure and vying for benefits and entitlements. Cite a state law that allowed an employee to be fired because he's homosexual. The NFL won't do that, no sensible employer get's rid of a valuable asset because of irrelevant trivia.

South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford resigned for being heterosexual, he's running now. I'm looking forward to him winning May seventh!

See Brian one of the differences between you and me is if I state something I will back it up... unlike you
http://www.businessinsider.com/states-where-y...

Now regarding Mark Sanford... DO YOU EVER GET TIRED OF LYING?
A) he did not resign from being governor.... he served till 2011
B) He resigned in 2009 from Chairman of the Republican Governors Association.
C) he did not resign "for being heterosexual" he resigned for having an extramarital affair.

So any more lies you want to put out there....

Nonsense, c.o.n. didn't post even one example of someone being fired because's he's gay. Instead, he's posted some left-wing story about not regulating employment policy; the left wants to control every aspect of life.

Oh btw you never did explain your lie here
South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford resigned for being heterosexual, he's running now. I'm looking forward to him winning May seventh!.

Care to show me where he resigned for being heterosexual.... when he resigned for being a cheating scumbag?.. Or are you saying that having affairs with other women while married is part and parcel with being heterosexual....

He resigned from his position as Chairman of the Republican Governors Association, c.o.n. knows this.

I wouldn't discuss homosexual behavior the way c.o.n. writes about heterosexual behavior.

I never said he didnt did I (when will you cease the constant lying?). What I asked you to prove was your statement that he resigned for being heterosexual.... As of yet you have not proven this... or any other outlandish statement you make.

Ill never understand why individuals like Brian think the left "wants to control every aspect of life", when the right feels it has the right to control this issue.
marriage is most certainly sacred. Whether its between a man and a woman or a man and a man.
Also, is this the same Brian who talks out his ass on the farmington NM forum?
