No I don't support Gays. The main reason is because they can not help but make a scene every chance they get. They need to keep thier relationship in there home. Nothing is worse than being out with your kids a seeing a gay couple kissing or holding hands. Then the questions start from the kids Daddy why is a boy kissing a boy. It is disrespectful and straight healthy people don't wanna see nor do the kids. Message to Gays... Stay indoors and keep to yourself

Marriage is a religious ceremony and being gay is definetly not God's will.

I will never support this! I will not go against the LAWS of GOD! One day each of us are going to be held accountible when we stand before our creator. We are to follow the LAWS of GOD not MAN!!!!! Marriage is between a man and woman- You are not born this way-you chose this lifestyle. Enogh said.

Where are you getting your laws from? A God who says this?

Exodus 21:20 "If a man beats his male or female slave with a rod and the slave dies as a direct result, he must be punished, 21 but he is not to be punished if the slave gets up after a day or two, since the slave is his property."

GROSS.

I oppose gay marriage. God created a man and a woman to join and populate. If He would have created a man and a man or a woman and a woman we would not be here. Think of that. We are all born of a sin we must overcome to be closer to God. (just in case some gays say they were born gay)

Marriage can be a religious ceremony or simply a legal agreement. That depends on the choice of the people involved. Though I feel discomfort sometimes when I find out someone is gay, it quickly fades when I get to know a little more about that person. Domestic partners of the same sex already get health insurance in maryland state employment. I say hold them to the marriage commitment as well then so people can't just lie that for instance they live with another guy (who is really just some friend of theirs) and get him insurance. I pretty much agree with leaving people alone. No one should be tongue kissing and such in front of kids anyway...When two people are holding hands, it really shouldn't require explanation, but if you feel it does, it's easy to explain...they're gay. Hiding the fact that some people are gay from kids is like hiding all the topless bimbos on TV from them....yeah, they probably shouldn't see that, but unfortunately the world thinks it's fine to show women naked but two guys holding hands is shocking and evil? Right. Get over it.

Nope. It is abnormal & perverse. Please show me one species (plant, insect, or animal) that procreates with 2 males or 2 females.

What does procreation have to do with it? Plenty of heterosexuals don't procreate. Are they abnormal and perverse?

<quoted text>Cute. All you fags divert from the main topic. The act of sexual intercourse between 2 people of the same sex is perverted. No follow my reasoning, you freaking dunce: There is no species of plant, insect or animal, on earth, that procreates with 2 individuals of the same gender. Therefore that act is not normal, another word for that is abnormal, another for that is perverse or against normal order. Now try your lame ass reasoning again. i await your next attempt to normalize perversion. It will never be the same as 1 man & 1 woman, EVER. If it where we would not be having this discussion & you fags know it. I will not change my beliefs or standards to please a perverse minority of humanity.
You're wrong.

The World Health Organization, the American Medical Association, the American Psychiatric Association, the American Psychological Association, the National Association of Social Workers, the American Counseling Association, and the American Academy of Pediatrics all say homosexuality is a normal unchangeable variant of human sexuality. Get over it.

There are plenty of animal species that have a percentage of their members that are exclusively homosexual, only mating/courting with members of the same sex during their lifetime and never taking part in reproduction.

And no one diverted from the topic. You said gays are perverse because they don't procreate. I said there are plenty of heterosexuals who don't procreate, does that mean they're perverse.

You just didn't want to answer that question.

I never did understand the hubbub about gay marriage. The arguments against and for it, it just seems so silly. Why are all these grown adults so wrapped up in someone else's life? Here's a fun little exercise: take an argument against queers and exchange any of the words used for homosexual with something else marginalized in the past (and most of those are still marginalized).

Jew, Negro, Cripple, Atheist, mix-raced couple, Muslim, Republican, Democrat, rich or poor...if something's different some people just can't get over themselves enough to see that 'different' doesn't necessitate it being harmful. It doesn't take long, if you look at it objectively, to see that it's just the hate of something different from what you're used to.

What if the tables were turned? What if something about you, whether it was something you're born with or a choice you made, something that only affects you, drew the same ire as this topic?

Golden rule, people...
