It's not right. It's not natural, it's against what the Bible teaches. God speaks plainly about how he feels about it. Sin is sin. People who choose to live this lifestyle do not need "special privileges" because of their sexual choices. The reason a husband and wife her tax breaks, is because the can pro create and are living as God teaches to live withing the context of a heterosexual marriage that God blesses. I have never yet met a homosexual that is content and satisfied with his or her life, and truly happy!

Every citizen of the US should have the same legal rights. Why are we still debating this?

You have the "right" to commit crime, and be sexually immoral but that dose not make it right or moral! People who are gay keep trying to convince straight people it's normal, to make themselves feel excepted and what they are doing okay..

If God didn't think it was important it would not be talked against doing in the Bible over 6 times in the Old Testament and in the New Testament.

As a society and a country being sexually moral is very important and teaching our kids to be sexually moral is very important!

If we are not talking about it we should be! Morals and character are what make or break a person, and people are what make or break our nation!

Equal rights for a perverse sexual preference!

Nope that does not qualify!

If it does then we need to start giving "equal rights" to drug addicts, thief's, and liars..All are personal choices all are sin! None qualify!

Read the Bible and maybe you will know what qualifies for Gods morals and rules for life! He has a lot to say on the subject of homosexuality!

There are reasons for the rules God sets for us to live by.They give a happy peaceful life.. Go against Him and you will never be at peace.

All other sin a person commits outside his body but sexual sin is sinning against ones own body.

God does care!

When did you choose to be hetero?.... Not when did you first notice the opposite sex and get all tingly inside notice something weird going on between your legs. But when did you sit down and make a concious decision that from that point on you would be attracted to the opposite sex? Unless you can truely answer that question, you can not lable being homosexual a choice or preference.

A) we are not a theocracty... so what your interpretation of your holy book is does not matter when it comes to the law and civil rights.
B) The bible says a lot of things that far right christians tend to gloss over because it would impact their lives, yet they choose what they want to use the bible backing for. A good example is divorce and remarriage. The Bible says no divorce unless infidelity is involved and if you are divorced for reasons other than infidelity you can not get remearried. Heck this is such an important concept that Jesus himself talked about it (something he NEVER did about homosexuality). Yet there are tons of divorced and remarried "christians" (for reasons other than infidelity) You dont hear the bible thumpers wanting laws agaisnt that.

I'll marry my boyfriend thanks very much. Nothing unnatural about love - there is something very aberrant about hate however.

i carry your heart with me(i carry it in
my heart)i am never without it(anywhere
i go you go,my dear; and whatever is done
by only me is your doing,my darling)
i fear
no fate(for you are my fate,my sweet)i want
no world(for beautiful you are my world,my true)
and it's you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you

here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;which grows
higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart

i carry your heart(i carry it in my heart)

I never choose to be gay or straight, God chose what I would be at my conception! Speaking of conception if being gay is natural why then cant a gay couple conceive a baby together as nature intended all creatures to do? Answer: because living in a state of being gay is one of the most unnatural ways a person can go against your body, God, nature.. Everything about it creams WRONG!

So God chose what you would be... Yet EVERY homosexual out there goes against one of the most base human instincts, sexual attraction, and has the will power to totaly ignore what EVERY fiber of their body tells them to do (be attracted to the opposite sex) and then say they are attacted to t heir own sex... that what you are saying?....

As far as babys et al.. Care to show me where procreation was a prereq for marriage?... Wait its not so your argument is a non issue.

So basically, since there are over 1500 species of animals proven to have homosexuals among them.. you can not say it it not natural. All you can say is that because you understanding of what your theological book says... we must all bow down to your belief.... Wait this is the USA... we are not a theocracy... so your belief means nothing to the law....

Will God judge you for hating or me for loving?
I am in full support of Gay marriage...My heart loves who it chooses and it should be like all heterosexuals that society deems ok.

If "God" chose for you .. he did for them also... unless you have proof other wise...
"God" made over 1500 species of animals have homosexuals in them... so maybe it is "Gods" way to prevent overpopulation...

But in reality it comes down to one basic FACT. This is a legal issue. As such your theological beliefs are not a factor. When we become a Christian theocracy, when we start doing biblical litmus test on our laws you theological viewpoint may be valid... till then... not so much
