Attention in Biology did you... If you did you would realize that under scientific classification we (homo sapiens) are all animals... thus we are related to other living things in the Animalia kingdom. So homo and hetero are on the same level... creeps u out doesnt it.

"Keep in mind that you can’t force your opinion on all, as well. As for disgusting, I find you to be just that" "

Who is forcing their opinion. You are welcome to your opinion, until it takes away from someones equal rights....
As far as you finding me disgusting.. I would expect no less from you than a knee jerk reaction like that...
Now being that I am hetero... is it that I am for ssm that disgust you?

"The Constitution does not specify sexual rights for anyone. Gays have the very same civil rights as all citizens, but that isn’t enough for them...."

Really...the same... you can marry who you are attracted to... they can not... does that sound equal to anyone?.....

How is two people getting married going to "tear down the family?."... Please explain that brilliant piece of logic.

“Sorry, but all the "reasons" you give are emotional based, not fact based. You do not like homosexuals.. we get that... however tell us a legal fact that would defend them from enjoying the same rights as you do......”—Hogwash!

Hogwash... now there is a well thought out reply... instead of showing where what you wrote was based in in any fact and not emotion what so ever, you simply reply Hogwash... whats next OH Yeah...Says you....

"The issue is not that it will affect anyone’s rights but that gay marriage should not be allowed because it violates the rules of common decency. Gays do not have the right to demand a nation change its mores to accommodate their perverted lifestyles. The United States Constitution does not and never has granted rights to anyone to be a sexual pervert."

Here we go again.....
Violates human decency.... how... Some people find it decent to be nude in their house.... Some find it decent to have anal sex (yes heteros do that)... Point is decency is not written in stone. If it is done behind the closed doors of ones house.... who are you to say it is decent. If it is done by heteros in the open.. who are you to say that is decent but done by Gays it's not. I find pda bye either ssc or osc indecent... but I at least do not choose favorites....

"Gays do not have the right to demand a nation change..."
They are demanding the same legal coverage as other citizens get. They are demanding equal treatment... Seems to me they are not wanting to change mores of the United States, but to apply them equally....

"The United States Constitution does not and never has granted rights to anyone to be a sexual pervert. "

Actually it kinda does... See you can do what ever "perverted" things you want in the privacy of your home... implicitly guaranteed by the constitution. Now again perversion is a perjorative word. So what you consider perverse is not what others may. Since ssc holding hand, kissing in public is not against the law.. while you may find it disgusting (as do I) their "perversion" (your word) is covered by the const.

As far as the rest of your cut and paste... You are quoting people from early to mid 1800. Back then slavery was fine, dred scott was law of land... women couldn't vote.... Times change... get up to date w the new millenium .

Now you go for sodomy....
A) you do realize that according to kinsey 25 percent of men and 24 percent womeb between 21-30 had somdomy.
B) not all male homo. engage in sodomy, depending on study anywhere from 15-80 percent..
C)Sodomy is not illegal
D) By stateing sodomy as a reason agaist ssm, then you are ok w lesbians marrying.... on sodomy there...

Once again your arguments boil down to one emotional point... you do not like homosexual activity. Hardly a reason to deny a citizen their rights.

<quoted text>Did the Constitution give you the right to tell me what I can say? Who are you to make such a suggestion? Do you dare to presume that only gays have the right to opinions about homosexuality? FYI, I live in this country, too, and I am tired of all the depravity in our society. This used to be a decent country until it decided that decency was old-fashioned and allowed all the depravity imaginable to replace our moral values; now we have a nation that is on the same level as Sodom and Gomorrah, and I won't be surprised if God judges us. We deserve it.
A) I didnt tell you what you could say did I... I just suggested a more accurate phrase seeing your need to deny things to people you dont like.
B) You have the right to have what ever narrow minded archie bunker esque view you want. Free country... all citizens equal.. well maybe not the homosexuals... but you are ok with that.

False. Gay couples would like to enjoy the SAME privilege that straight couples have: the ability to marry. They seek no "more" rights.
<quoted text>
Are you suggesting that gay people want to stop straight nuclear families from forming?
<quoted text>
How about being productive members of society?
<quoted text>
Your argument is to cite imaginary cultural "rules"?
<quoted text>
And slavery was accepted. And women couldn't vote. Do you believe the early colonists really had the best handle on social equality?
The early colonists and our Founding Fathers had moral decency, unlike today. There is no comparison between slavery, women's vote, and gay rights. Civil rights and sexual immorality have nothing in common.

I am not wasting my time debating sentence by sentence with you. You know exactly what my opinion of homosexuality is, so I am see no point in further discussion with you since neither of us is going to change what we think.

I said nothing about sodomy, so stop distorting what I say. Obviously you are obsessed with forcing perversion on those such as I who find it offensive. I do not find your arguments of obsession interesting enough to continue this exercise in futility.
However, I must comment on your mention of the vile Dr. Kinsey,ewho hired child molesters off the streets and from his deviate group of friends to molest children for his sick research. He should have been imprisoned for life for his crimes against children, not glorified.

Really... nothing... does this sound familure... after all you took the time to cut and paste it

"In fact, homosexuals were notP accepted in society in the early days of America. Sodomy was legally condemned with severe punishment as the consequence.
America's first law book, authored by founding jurist Zephaniah Swift, communicated the popular view concerning sodomy and says it well:
“This crime, tho repugnant to every sentiment of decency and delicacy, is very prevalent in corrupt and debauched countries where the low pleasures of sensuality and luxury have depraved the mind and degraded the appetite below the brutal creation. Our modest ancestors, it seems by the diction of the law, had no idea that a man would commit this crime [anal intercourse with either sex]....[H]ere, by force of common law,[it is] punished with death....[because of] the disgust and horror with which we treat of this abominable crime. 25”

So ya you did bring up sodomy......

Obviously you are obsessed with forcing perversion on those such as I who find it offensive. I do not find your arguments of obsession interesting enough to continue this exercise in futility.

Gee the only perversion is what you want to do to the rights of some american citizens. You want to deny them equal rights because who they are and what they may or may not do offends you...... Funny thing is ... civil rights dont work that way ... do they.

As far as you not "continueing..." most people like you when they can no longer logically defend their bigotry choose to run away... your no different.

I have had the upper hand with you from day one... you have yet to show any argument based in fact. You have emotional arguments sure.. but that is it.

I did notice that while you are quick to
A point out what you didnt say anything about (which i showed you did)
B accuse me of name calling which neve happend. The term archie bunker esqu is not a name call but a description of your additude adjective not name calling...
C) accuse me of not providing facts, which i did.

What you didnt do is answer the questions I put forward to you including
1) How is two people getting married going to "tear down the family?."... Please explain that brilliant piece of logic.

2)how does homosexuality " violates the rules of common decency." since decency is perjorative
3) and the most important one (the one that no one on your side seems to want to tackle) Why should two American Citizens together for 10 years who happen to be a ssc enjoy less rights than a couple married 10 minutes.

Now I don't really expect logical answers from you on this. Ones based on YOUR interpretation of Your holy book (which matters not to the law) or ones based on your emotional issues with homosexuals in general .. sure. But ones base on sound logic... doubt it.

As I stated, I did not mention sodomy. The attorney who wrote the article I posted did so. Regardless, sodomy fits, so why are you upset?
Why is it that you gays always resort to the bigot card when one disagrees with you? The truth of the matter is that gays are bigots and vicious persons who suppose they have the right to parade their sexual life in the streets, in the face of decency, and dare to try to deny the right of others to live in a society with moral values. Is there some reason why you feel compelled to tell the world what you do sexually? Who do you think wants to know? One's sexual life should be a private matter and was until gays got the sick idea to tell us all about it. I don't give a heck what you do in the privacy of your bedroom; but the key word is privacy. Keep your personal life to yourself. No one wants to hear about it.

I don't want you in my bedroom. The fact that Sam should be legalized has nothing to do with sex. Get your mind out of our bedrooms. We just want the same rights. Nothing more. I can't see how affording equal rights could effect anyone's life other than those benefiting from it. Everyone is always afraid of change, but it will happen.

If you post it you "wrote"it..... nice try,,,,

"Why is it that you gays always resort to the bigot card when one disagrees with you"

What make you think I am gay?... the fact I support ssm and gay right?
I support womens rights... so am i a female...
I support equal rights for all minorities... so does that make me asian black mexican name your ethnicity here american?...... Or does it make me someone who wants equal rights for all american... not just some.

So the bigot card should not be used for everyone who disagrees with their position... yet it is ok for you to group all gays under one umbrella
got you....

The truth of the matter is that gays are bigots and vicious persons who suppose they have the right to parade their sexual life in the streets, in the face of decency, and dare to try to deny the right of others to live in a society with moral values.

They are bigots... how....?

Tell me how a gay rights parade is different than a cinco de mayo, or St. Patties day parade. All of them are supporting a segment of society. It is just you disapprove of one so it shouldnt be allowed.... no bigotry there.

How are they denying your "moral values". By wanting to get the benifits prescribed by law of a married couple, your moral values are not hit. So exactly how is your "moral values harmed?

Is there some reason why you feel compelled to tell the world what you do sexually?
How do they do that?... Let me guess by telling you they are gay they are telling you what they do sexually....

You dont like homosexuals.. we get that... but just because it offends your "morals" (which is a personal thing ) does not mean a ssc should not be allowed the same rights that a married couple gets.

Unfortunately, it doesn't work. In order for a marriage to be a real marriage, the two people involved must be of opposite sexes. Two people of the same sex cannot have children. Even if they didn't want to have children, they are incapable of having normal sexual relations. Those who try, often become ill with veneral diseases or viruses. They could use condoms to prevent all that, but still there would be non fullfillment to the relationship. This is why most homosexuals are not faithful in their relationships and take on other partners - because they are not reaching satisfaction in any relationship that wasn't meant to be, or is sexually dysfunctional. Those people are always carrying around a lot of stigma, guilt, and low self esteem, since they actually recognize that they are somehow inferior. It would be ideal if they could get reorinetation counseling and remap their lives accordingly, but most - unfortunately, are not willing to put forth that effort. The other alternative would be to practice celibacy, which is hard to do for most people, but nonetheless possible. There are many things which bring fullfillment in life aside from sex.

Believe me, neither I nor any other want to be in your bedrooms! You are dishonest when you state all this has nothing to do with sex, for that is whole basis for your demands, so you can stop your little game. You have always had equal rights, and you know it. What you demand are special rights, the right to force the rest of us to acknowledge your sexual perversion as normal. Fear of change also has nothing to do with the issue.
