It drives me nuts when people of different races and interracial couples don't support it. They of all people should know what it's like to have to fight for equal rights. If you want to be treated equal then treat everyone else equal. Just remember it wasn't that long ago that everyone thought they were sick and going to Hell and if you think allowing gays to marry is going to ruin the fabric of society, so will divorce after divorce after divorce.

I do not understand what the problem is when it comes to gay marriages.. As long as you are happy who care if your the same sex.. This should not be a governmental issue. Love is love. Someone else may not agree with who I love but that's where it should stop. There should never be laws limiting our choices in relationships. I might not agree with the haircut someone just got but I'm not going to try to make a law against it.

Gay marriage is NOT acceptable... it is disgusting! I could not imagine being in a public place and seeing two people of the same sex kissing in front of my seven-year-old. I mean, what the hell would I say to her if she were to ask about it?'Oh hunny, they are gay and it is okay that they do that.' I DON'T freakin' think so!

I am in my thirties and when I was in school people would not admit that they were gay, they were ashamed of it... as they SHOULD be. What in this world makes this okay? Marriage is meant to be between a MAN and WOMAN, they have children together and have a family life... gays cannot reproduce and that is one of our many purposes as humans. I do NOT care what any of you think about the way I feel... it is immoral and utterly repulsing to even think of gays being able to marry.

Let's just hope your 7 yr old doesn't turn out gay. It sure would be sad for her to think her mommy hates her because of who she loves. You deserve the mom of the year award. aUm, hey Think Not, what is to stop your 7 year old from seeing 2 gay people kissing in public right now? Marriage between gays may not be legal (yet) but being gay is not illegal. I fail to see how marriage laws will affect PDAs.

I love your argument about marriage being between a man and a woman. You do realize that by design monogamy is against nature? Sure, folks can say that humans have evolved beyond basic nature but I say prove it. Thinking like yours shows that in the grand scheme of things people haven't really come that far. What if your 7 year old sees a person of a different faith than you praying, do you neglect to inform them of the world around them or do you spew more hate? Well you know you what 15 years ago we use to just trusted medical profession not to make mistakes and never had medication errors because patients were just given medication without the multiple secondary stops.

And a "couple years" prior women had little to no rights. What are we suppose to cover my sons and daughters eyes when a women of power walks by.

Or lets just ignore all the safety suggestions because we never had to wear seatbelts or use carseats.
