Gay's are looking for more rights than any other group. It's time to place them in the rear of any issue and stop giving into every group that cries discrimination. They made a conscious decision to live a lifestyle void of any normalcy and current policy. The expense of rewriting hundreds of laws will be astronomical and I am adamantly opposed of this spending. If they choose so to live deviant lifestyle they have that right but to marry is simply obscene. I don’t even know why they are allowed to raise children as the environment they are raised in is extremely harmful.

"Rear of any issue?" Let's vote...

Accidental:_________ Intentional:_________

Don't really know which way to go on that one.

I don't care what they do.

Things are always cool for a while but whenever you get these ‘special interest” groups and they demand special treatment they get one thing and then they just keep wanting. After a while they start costing me money and that’s when I draw the line. There is one of two things going on here and it needs figured out before the gays continue to get “special rights” First thing is, is it a choice to be gay like I say or is there really a magic gay gene. If it’s choice they get nothing..If it’s a gay gene it’s a birth defect and … they get nothing. The gays have pride day. Now Pride day to me is their special Olympics..I have gay friends and gay people don’t bother me but they also don’t deserve the same rights that accompany a traditional lifestyle. That’s my opinion.

No two loving individuals should be denied the right to enter into a legal relationship if they want to.

Things were better when gays were still in the closet. They seem to think their sexuality is the only thing to define who they are. Gay rights parades and festivals, etc. I don't think it's good for children to think that type of lifestyle is normal. Because it isn't.

Exactly, that's why so many UN opposed show up. It's a gay poll and they were losing so badly they shut down the opposed vote side.

Well that's what the gays want next. They think adult child relationships are just fine.

You're killin' me man. I don't think that they necessarily support pedophilia. I do think we have more pressing issues to deal with in this country right now that deserve focus and attention. If we're gonna pay our politicians to sit around and think, let's have them focus on illegals, getting people off welfare, you know, money-saving issues. This gay marriage hooplah takes the back burner, sorry.

I think it's so sad that some people don't view gays in the same light as the rest of us. They are exactly like us except they prefer to have a relationship with the same sex. All gay people want is to be able to be married and be treated with the same dignity as the rest of us non gays. Gay people are not child molesters. While some child molesters may have gay tendances, so have some serial killers, but not all gay people are perverts. Most of them, like us, may hold hands in public or kiss in public but their sex life is behind closed doors. My neigbors who are straight may be doing a lot of things in their bedroom that is shocking, maybe just as shocking to many of you as what gays do, but I don't know and I'm not going to think about it because I don't care. I guess some people can't stand the thought of knowing that if they see two gay men out in public they get a mental picture in their head. I'm going to tell all of you anti gay people that you are sick and horrible people if the only reason you dislike them is because of religious reasons or just some personal isecurity you have with homosexual sex. How pathetic and closed mined and just plain evil you are for that. I support gay rights. My husband and I are looking for property in the Sanibel/Ft Myers area and we do vote for gay rights. If you are religous you should think about what Jesus would have done. He sure wouldn't have been mean to a homosexual. He would have loved and accepted them.

YES! There is scientific evidence that gays are born gay. I learned that in psychology 101. I have a friend that I went to school with from K-12. I had attended many sleep overs with this girl and never once did she ever act like she liked women or girls. She was an all star softball player and a straight A sudent. After she graduated she came out. She told me personally that she knew she was gay her whole life. There's no way she made the choice to be gay. When we were crushing on little boys in first grade she was crushing on girls but never said anything because it wasn't the "norm". Ask any truly gay person and they will usually all have the same story. She also mentioned she wasn't abused as a child either because sometimes people who are sexually abused end up gay. I used to work for a home for girls who had been severely abused in every way possible. They were so mentally bruised they couldn't even function in a typical foster home. Many of those girls were bisexual or gay because they had been severely abused, many of them were abused by their fathers, brothers, uncles, mothers etc. So it's not always genetic, sometimes being gay is due to some sort of sexual trauma. Of course those cases aren't cases of your typical homosexuality but it can happen that way as well.
