Marriage is basically the "legal" recognition of a couple's relationship, if gay marriage isn't legal, does that mean gay couples don't exist...?

Love is love. If two consenting adults want to marry each other, who am I to tell them no?

Seperation of the church and state. Stop forcing your religious views on society and let people be happy.

There are no arguments against it which are not religious, and religion does not belong in politics.

You are CLUELESS....GOD help you...even though you don't believe in him, I DO!!!!! So, I will pray that you will come to know better.

Beyond your religious views (which I don't have) there is no reason of any kind that same sex couples shouldn't be able to marry.

We all have a need to express our love to someone. If marriage is that outlet have at it.

Our government is taking the bible and all religion out of everything because it offends non- Christians. So why do they think they can make any rulings about who can love each other and who cannot. I am a straight christian who thinks that they do not have that right nor the right to tell woman what they can or cannot do with their bodies. Is it right? Too me there is only one judge and that is no one here on this planet. If we were more concerned with cancer and our economy instead of gay marriage and abortion something might get done around here.

I'm a lesbian from NJ and my partner and I have been together 9 years now. Anyone who doesn't think we should be married is ignorant and cruel. Regardless of what they think, Gay Marriage is coming. It's only a matter of a few years. I know the north has always been ahead of the south... take notes.
