Those in Maine, and Massachusetts and New Hampshire, Vermont and Connecticut ALL KNOW Marriage Equality is good for society, and no harm has ever come to any society that has supported marriage equality.

Hey - GREAT NEWS!!!

Look at What's happened in Maine since 14,000 voters stripped Maine's Gays and Lesbians of their right to Civil Marriage:

Here's the difference (and herein lies your problem!)

- SUPPORT FOR MARRIAGE EQUALITY ALIGNS WITH:
* EQUALITY,
* INCLUSION,
* INTEGRITY,
* EDUCATION,
* HONESTY AND
* FAIRNESS.

- OPPOSITION TO MARRIAGE EQUALITY ALIGNS WITH:
* INEQUALITY,
* EXCLUSION,
* DECEIT,
* DISCRIMINATION,
* DISHONESTY,
* BIGOTRY,
* IGNORANCE,
* UNFAIRNESS.

Oh - that was so funny, I almost forgot to laugh.

Particularly coming from the likes of you - from the land of rednecks and goats who run for the hills when you and your 'buds' are around!

THE FOUNDATION FOR MARRIAGE EQUALITY IS LINED IN CONCRETE - CONTAINING EQUALITY, INCLUSION, HONESTY AND TRUTH.

THE FOUNDATION TO OPPOSE MARRIAGE EQUALITY IS LINED IN DECEIT, HOMOPHOBIA, IGNORANCE AND DISCRIMINATION.

Bye-bye.

Here's how the vote went, county by county.

The green counties are obviously the traditionals.

Kinda puts it in perspective, doesn't it?

1. And the red counties are the ones with ALL of the people! LOL

2. Over 560,000 people voted, and if just 14,000 voted to oppose the ban, Marriage Equality would have stayed.

3. And you and I both know that MORE THAN 14,000 people would have voted to oppose the ban if they knew NOM, AFA, AFC and the Catholic and Mormon Church were viciously lying.

4. Want to see a list of the LIES told:

a. Church sermons would be criminalized;
b. Priest would be arrested for hate speech;
c. Churches would be FORCED to marry homosexuals;
d. Doctors would be forced to choose between their profession or their faith;
e. Pretty teenage girls would loose their personal freedoms;
f. Homosexual Marriage would be taught in kindergarten;
g. Heterosexuals would no longer have a desire to get married;
h. A storm would come that would affect all people;

Honestly - if those who OPPOSE Marriage Equality must tell VICIOUS and BLATANTLY FALSE lies to win support - what exactly does that say about their position???

I provided you with the documented list of lies told to ALL MAINERS, as NOM spent MILLIONS broadcasting these lies!

And if just 14,000 voters (out of 560,000) voted to OPPOSE the BAN, would have ALLOWED MAINE TO RETAIN MARRIAGE EQUALITY.

Kind of puts it in perspective, doesn't it?

I would suggest you call it a day while you're only getting mildly thumped.

Population map by county.

You can whine and complain until the cows come home. There is only one pertinent fact here and that is, in spite of all the gay activism, the vote still went to the Traditionals.

Did you even bother to read your own link?

LOL - If you did, you would have noticed:

1. it was just an 'automated survey'.
2. it wasn't able to determine 'voter' opinions.
3. it was a computer generated random phone poll, where people couldn't even ask for clarification.

B O G U S!!!!!

Figures - you have to get a computer poll to generate opposition, as ALL OF THE POLLS in real life show much greater support!

And 53% of Maine Voters Support Marriage Equality in this poll.
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/...

Yes - the opponents to Marriage Equality just squeezed out a slim margin victory of 3%, but WE BOTH KNOW THAT ONLY HAPPENED BECAUSE THE OPPONENTS OF MARRIAGE EQUALITY LIED LIKE RUGS.

Lie #1 Priest Sermons will be criminalized.

Lie #2 Priests will be arrested for hate speech.

Lie #3 Churches will be FORCED to marry homosexuals.

Lie #4 Churches will LOSE their tax exempt status

Lie #5 Children will be taught homosexuality in kindergarten

Lie #6 Doctors will be forced to choose between their faith or their jobs.

Lie #7 Parents will lose the ability to teach morality to their children

Lie #8 Beautiful and timid teenage girls will lose their personal freedom.

Lie #9. Marriage will be diluted and future heterosexuals will reject marriage, resulting in the death of our society.

Lie #10. A storm is coming on the horizon, and a "Rainbow" coalition of all faiths, creeds, races, religions and people have come together to strike down this storm.

(yawn) how many times are you going to whine the same tune?

The win was gained at the polls. The voters affirmed their support of Traditional Marriage Values.

31 out of 31 - there is no denying it. Proof positive that the American people are firmly behind Traditional Marriage Values across this great nation.

* Diversity really threatens you - eh?

* Wonder why?

* Why?

It's The 64 Thousand dollar question!

* Why is the big and tough person so AFRAID of Marriage Equality?

* Why would the marriage of two women who love each other, and have been in a committed relationship for 36 years so be terribly threatening to you?

* Why would ANY American oppose Equality and Inclusion?

* Why would ANY American attempt to strip marriage rights from any minority group?

All Good Questions - and the bigots, homophobes and haterosexuals just can't answer!
