Even for the fanatic religious groups, being gay is not a sin, because the lord wishes us to love each other that is all being gay is, the only 'sin' of being gay is having relations with another person of the same gender but any man or woman having sex before marriage is also going against Gods will, as are married couples of the same gender who have sex with out the purpose of creating a child every single time they do so without the sole purpose of creating new life. so when every single religious fanatic holds up to every single thing in the bible don't hold it against others. on top of all of this the only one who is to pass judgement on others is the lord so therefore passing judgement on people because they are homosexual goes against gods will. i would also like to point out it was not long ago that interracial marriages were illegal. i myself am not strongly religious i am only angling this towards religion because the majority of opposition is from the religious section of society. and i wanted to pointed out the only way that homosexual relationships are a sin, is often commonly reflected in straight marriage as a sin also, having sex for a reason other than procreation.

Because love is a completely personal matter that affects only those 2 that are in love. As long as love doesn't cause harm i don't see why it should be not acceptable. Gay people don't harm anybody by loving each other and want to spent the rest of their life together
