My kids don't have a problem doing chores. It isn't child labor, they are productive, and gain responsibility.

So,should I ban my little daughter from picking up small pebbles in the yard while I am cleaving the leaves, since I was gonna pick pebbles afterwards anyways and it could be construed as "labor" and then possibly CPS and charges for "child abuse".
I am also from farm background and this is an unheard of suggestion. I even was up at 05 on Sundays handing out grass when I was at my uncle's. Then when I was 15 I worked ploqing a field for my unlce and made $5 an hour.
ANother idiotic rule made by provincial statist that has never done, never ie and never will do anything but useless ****
