sad thing is that so many kids are given EVERYTHING so why would they work? Kids are getting in trouble at very young age and parents wonder why. Kids would die if their butts had to work in a garden, or killing hogs, feeding farm animals, working in the fields, yards, hay field or almost ANY kind of hard work. It would be SOOO good for them. Some of the hardiest working men and great men at that were our fathers. Hard work never hurt them. Kids are growing up lazy nowdays and so many will end up finding a way to be the system. Foodstamps are being given out as if everyone has the right to expect the gov. to support them.

Farm chores build good character and work ethic. I used to be one of those "child laborers" and I thank my parents for it.
