Citing public outrage, the Department of Labor has WITHDRAWN the controversial proposal that would prohibit children under 18 from working “in the storing, marketing and transporting of farm product raw materials” and prohibiting them from performing a list of jobs on their own families’ land. Under the law there could not be any 4-H or FFA.

The law would have lowered income, raised the already high prices we all face at the supermarkets every week and had many other negative effects on farming families and in society.

What were they thinking!!!
