Government needs to stop sticking its nose into everybody's business. It is supposed to be the servant of the people, not their master.

Is there anything in this country that the federal government doesn't want to regulate? Under 18 not allowed to drive a tractor or milk a cow? Ridiculous!

This is so absolutely ridiculous. The average age of the U.S. farmer is already 50 years old. If this winner of an idea comes to fruition there will be no American farmers. The only way to interest an individual in farming is to get it in their blood as a young person. A farmer has to be raised and cultivated by his family just like a crop. A farmer has to love what he does to to tackle such a tough, arduous and thankless lifestyle. How do the geniuses proposing this think someone is goin to learn to farm? Out of a book or maybe a video on U-tube. Maybe we will just train farmers in college and Obama will give them free tutution. Or maybe all the farmers will eventually pass on without handing down the tradtion to their sons and grandsons and we can all starve to death or beg China for some rice to eat.

Just keep the government out of it. Hopefully they can find something better to waste their time on.

Eliminate money and suddenly we are all equal. There are no Rich, there are no Poor. You have the same access to what you need as everybody else. Food, clothing, shelter, medical care, etc... Why should your employer or the government be able to dictate whether or not you have a next meal, or whether your child gets medical care? Money is the chain that makes you a slave to your employer and to the government. Do what we say, dress, how we say, think how we say... or no money for you!

I also think that the government should keep there nose out of our business when it comes to chores that we set forth for our children. We feed them,we cloth them,we do there laundry,we pay for there medical bills,we put them thur school,We pay for there collage,we buy them a car. If the government wants to do all that then more power to them. Other wise stay out of our personal business

It should be left to the parents. Chores are good for children as it teaches them so much. They learn responsibility, respect, and how to work. Too many children are spoiled and handed everything. We are not doing them any favors by spoiling them. When we teach them the importance of working and the values that come with it are raising productive children who respect others as well as themselves. Chances are they will grow up to be responsible adults! Coddle and spoil them and you wind up with lazy adults that feel they are entitled. Just my two cents!

Why do you think we have so many crackheads? It is because there parents would give in to them and just give them everything they wanted and not teach them responsiblities and what it is to earn something. And why? Because our government came up with this thing called Child Labor Law.

My grandfather, who was a pig farmer, had a saying; "If you give a pig and a boy everything they want, you'll end up with a good pig and a bad boy."
