Its the same as any other chore isn't it. If a parent just so happens to own a farm well thats their chores. We didn't have a say so when we where younger it was't up to anyone else what our parents made us do. Why should anyone but a parent have say so over their children ?

We don't need the government playing mommy even more. It's alright to give your kid some farmwork, but common sense should tell a parent that it shouldn't be too excessive or too strenuous.

To regulate would be taking a way of life away from our families and children...

I cant even believe this is a question. This is what is wrong with todays youth now they have no clue what work is. I feel my child is learning something when he helps me, or has chores around the farm he is learning work ethics!! Something this generation needs.. The government in my opinion should leave child rearing up to the parents unless they are put in harms way. In now way should kids be used as slaves, and again this is only my opinion but I will raise my child working out in the farm and around the house rather him being stuck inside on the couch playing video games all day durring the summer. After chores are done then he can play the games if he wishes but to a minimum.

When someone begins their sentence with "This is what's wrong with," I can't take them seriously.
