Living on a farm is no different than living in a city when it comes to doing chores.

First of all, the question is loaded. "It's upto the parents"? WTF? That's kinda like saying "Let's do away with CPS!" Or that's how it sounds to me anyway.

If children are being forced to do work that places them in danger, or otherwise causes problems for the child, then is that not what we have Child Protective Services for? And furthermore, does that not solve the problem? Or does it not?

If the question is, "Should we regulate further?" I say not unless their is a specific reason for doing so. I have not scene any specific reason(s) for doing so, however if anyone does know of any, please present them.
