What is happening here has nothing to do with Obama it would have happened no matter who was in office. You should look at the market demands for coal has gone down. And will continue to go down due several factors. One of which the lower cost of natural gas.

all you need to keep in mind when you are thinking about voting for Romney is air plane windows. Do we really need someone this stupid as President? He is starting to make Bush look like a genius. And when has that man ever told the truth he lies about stuff he has no reason to lie about. He just likes to lie.

Unless something unforeseen happens, I'll be voting for Gary Johnson, the Libertarian candidate. Except for a difference in priorities in things gov't shouldn't be concerned with like religiously-based values (since we do not have a National Religion), the only difference between Romney and Obama is that Obama is a lot smarter, and as a mere citizen I'm not sure where that's a good thing or a bad thing for me. Johnson has the cure for the joke that Congress has become - vetoes. Vetoes and vetoes and more vetoes until they get the point that we the people will not put up with their damned partisan shenanigans any more. He'll also work to get the government out of our personal business so we can make our own decisions. I don't agree with every plank of his platform, but I disagree with it less than I do the other two who are more concerned with their party than with their country.
