Forget Romney, he's just trying to get richer. I don't really want Obama in there again but, he's better than Romney. Obama talks about creating more jobs but, is taking them from WV. He is trying to get rid of the coal mines and rigs. My dad and uncle are coal miners. They are both out of work now. I worked on the rigs and I see the work disappearing from WV. No matter who gets in office they won't do anything for WV. It's bs we don't get looked at or helped.

Obama scares me - he's ruining small businesses and the middle income family, rather than helping them. He's just in over his head, and we are suffering because of his lack of experience and knowledge.

If you're for coal you should be for "anyone but Obama."

I'm not For Obama did you not read all I said about him? But I'm for him before Romney. Romney has already put middle class people out of jobs. But, Obama came into office at a shitty time. If he gets reelected we will see what he's really like and what he can do. But, like I said no matter who gets in office they won't do anything for WV. They don't look at us n definitely don't try to help us. The president doesn't even come to WV.

Romney is not the one trying to kill the coal business. If Obama is there 4 more years WV will be done as far as jobs go. Why do you think our Senators are not going to the Democratic convention as a protest.

I didn't say you were for Obama. I was just making a point about coal. Specifically obamas stance on coal. I read your post.

Well, you can look at this two ways.

Obama never employed anyone until he was elected. He never ran a business. Christ, he never even worked as a lawyer despite his fancy degree from Harvard. At least if he'd done that, he'd know how to hire a competent secretary.

That lack of experience could mean Obama has a fresh perspective. Or it could mean he's an incompetent boob.

Romney ran a venture capital firm. Yes, Bain shipped some jobs out of the country. Those were jobs that were going to go away anyhow. You can save the company with a little "creative destruction," or you can let the whole ship sink. 500 outsourced jobs vs. 5,000 jobs lost forever. You pick.

What is never talked about is Bain's success stories, such as Staples and Michael's. Nobody does office supplies better than Staples, and nobody peddles the arty-craftsy stuff better than Michael's. I was in one of their stores a couple of days ago, and the place was full of knowledgeable, helpful, cheerful employees.

Is a retail job in office supplies or arts and crafts a great job? Beats me. It kind of depends on what you enjoy and find interesting. But I can tell you this for certain: A crappy job is, in general, better than no job at all.

I don't love Mittens as a candidate. But I trust a competent businessman to run this enterprise we call America more than I trust a "community organizer" whose only tangible skills seem to be playing golf and basketball poorly. Your mileage may vary, but if I were you, I would be deeply suspicious of a dude who is at war with one of your state's core industries.

Buster, I'm an idiot? We come on here to talk politics and you come on here talking shit. You for one are a complete ass and if I wanted any of your lip I'd wipe it off my zipper. I have a father who just lost his job in the mines and know what I'm talking about when it comes to that. Obama isn't any good for the mines. But, he might do good if he gets 4 more years we never know. Yes the last president came to Wv but, what did he do for us? Not a damn thing I had to go out of state to work on the drilling rigs to make money

Having studied in America, I truly pray that this Obama guy is replaced by someone; anyone. Please, just get him out of there. I thought that a USA degree would serve me well, but I'm finding that employers aren't taking my credentials seriously. They think I learned sick fetishes and other vile things while studying there. It seems that every move this Obama guy makes deducts a little more worth from my education.

I don't care of the president visits WV. I just want him, whoever, to leave the coal busines alone. If things don't change there won't be anyone left in WV. All the young people leave now to find jobs. By the way do you know who made the uniforms for the US Olympics team? It sure wasn't America.

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Pisces

It's a great day for fixing anything that needs attention now. That might be a dripping tap, a sick child, an unpaid bill or a miffed partner. However, you'll do particularly well if you need to sort out something connected with official or joint finances or red tape. You might be asked to help someone deal with a bureaucratic problem, especially if they're elderly.
