Well I see that media manipulation is occuring here on topix too. How convenient that only hand picked candidates are noted in their little survey.

Who is making Progress .... you certainly aren't talking about Mr. Obama, heheh. Obama is good at talking ...and that's about it, thankfully. He's befuddled that his yacking from behind a podium gets him knowhere. It's the first Job he's ever had where he couldn't blame someone else for poor performance ...though he keeps trying. Mr. Obama: "It's Congresses fault! It's the Tea Parties fault! It's Bushes Fault."

Nope Barrack ... it's Your Fault, it's Barney Franks Fault, it's Maxine Waters Fault, Harry Reids' fault, and your fault. Yes, I said "Your fault" twice ....exactly.

Potential Race Between Black Guy and Mormon Poses Dilemma for Bigots
Doomsday Scenario, Haters Say

MINNEAPOLIS (The Borowitz Report)– A looming presidential race between a black guy and a Mormon is creating a major quandary for America’s bigots, a new poll reveals.

According to the poll, conducted by the University of Minnesota’s Opinion Research Institute, a broad majority of likely bigot voters “strongly agreed” with the statement,“If it winds up being between a black guy and a Mormon I don’t know what I’ll do because I don’t know which I hate more.”

Tea Party activist Eldin Brazelton of Oak Park, Illinois, expressed a frustration typical of the bigots surveyed:“We’ve spent the last three years stirring up anger towards a black guy, and that’s all going to go to waste if we just up and nominate a Mormon.”

According to Mr. Brazleton, a presidential choice between President Barack Obama and former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney would be no choice at all:“For the life of me I don’t know why we can’t just have a regular President.”

Mr. Brazleton, who considers himself a sexist as well as a bigot, said that the doomsday scenario unfolding for 2012 offered one small silver lining:“At least we know it’s not going to be a woman this time.”

Elsewhere, in response to the ongoing Occupy Wall Street protests in lower Manhattan, banking giant Goldman Sachs announced today that it was investing in pepper-spray futures.

Obama stands more for the average Americans not for big oil companies and big drug companies etc. I hope he can get the jobs bill passed! The rich should pay their fair share of taxes. I would like for him to stand up more for Isreal, however I don't know any others who would do better..

Perry: If Cain is Innocent, He Should Be Executed
Texas Governor Stirs Controversy with Latest Remarks

CONCORD, NEW HAMPSHIRE (The Borowitz Report)- Rick Perry waded into the brouhaha over the sexual harassment charges against Republican presidential rival Herman Cain, telling reporters,“If it turns out he’s innocent, then he should be executed.”

Noting that the case against Mr. Cain was far from airtight, Gov. Perry said,“In Texas we’ve fried men for less than that.”

The Texas governor stopped short of saying that he would personally put Mr. Cain to death, but added,“I’ll tell you what, if I had to do it, I’d sleep like a baby that night.”

While the sexual allegations against Mr. Cain gained traction, the former CEO was said to be huddling with two of his closest advisors, Papa John and Little Caesar.

Poll: Given Choice Between Romney and Santorum, Most Voters Choose Suicide
Survey Spells Trouble for GOP, Pollster Says

DETROIT (The Borowitz Report)– With just one day until the key Republican contests in Michigan and Arizona, a new survey of likely voters indicates that in a match-up between former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney and former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum, a majority would choose suicide over either candidate.

The poll, conducted by the University of Minnesota’s Opinion Research Institute, shows Mr. Romney drawing 21%, Mr. Santorum 18%, and various forms of suicide 61%.

“Throwing yourself in front of a speeding city bus” was the most popular means of suicide at 22%, with “jumping off the roof of a really tall building or bridge” coming in second at 17%.

According to pollster Davis Logsdon, the surging popularity of suicide bodes ill for both Gov. Romney and Sen. Santorum as presidential candidates in 2012.

“It’s still early, but even at this stage of the game the prospect of one of those two being nominated shouldn’t be making voters want to kill themselves in these numbers,” Mr. Logsdon said.

Reached on the campaign trail in Lansing, Mr. Romney pointed out that while he did not do as well as suicide, he still polled higher than Sen. Santorum, adding,“That’s better than a sharp stick in the eye.”

But Mr. Logsdon was quick to throw cold water on Mr. Romney’s upbeat assessment:“In a head-to-head match-up, a sharp stick in the eye beats Romney by a two-to-one margin.”

Elsewhere, Academy Award voters hailed “The Artist” as the ultimate fantasy film, since it depicts a world in which the French are silent.
