They might as well. The kids are drinking anyway. It doesn't matter if it's 21 or 18. Tese kids these days start drinking most often by age 12 or 13.

The real issue is the activities that are done while drinking, that is the real cause for concern. The difference between 18 and 21 isn't that great for most.

That sounds like anexcellent idea. Let's lower the drinking age. Then when that isn't enough let's make it legal for 16, no maybe 13 year-olds since they are doing it anyways. (Note the outright sarcasm)

we do it anyway so it doesn't make a difference

If you have seen or been around kids 18 and under Who are drinking you would know why lowering the age is a bad idea

There are plenty of statistics to validate young drivers to be of the highest risk. The younger generation can barely keep themselves from texting while driving, so imagine introducing alcohol..... Keep the age the same...they can wait 3 years to hopefully make good decisions.

There would be many more accidents and issues due to younger people drinking, I know 21 isn't much difference in age but at 18 you are no where near close enough to be legally drinking. Sorry kids, you have to wait until you are 21 just like the rest of us :)
