Having to deal with immature drunk 21 years old is bad enough, 18 would make it worse.

No. Imagine little wanne-be thugs at 21 years old at bars, nightclubs, garages etc... Now imagine them even younger and more stupud at only 18. Our streets are already filled with idiots DUI now imagine an 18 year-old behind the wheel.

That you don't like people younger than is not enough of a platform for the limiting of their rights and abilities.

18-, 19-, and 20-year-olds who want to drink are already drinking.
Setting the age limit to 21 does not do anything except make criminals out of kids who do nothing more than "party".
It's ironic, as the cliche goes, that at 18 a person can legally marry, fight and die for their country, but cannot drink a beer.

No matter how old you are, drinking and driving is a crime. Stay alive and free. Call a taxi if you're drinking.
Damn this bastard country!

I agree if at 18 you can marry, join the army or die for this bastard ass country, then why not also be able to drink?

In all realitly...If someone wants to drink, they're going to drink. Reguardless of age... Sad, yes, but VERY true. You'd be suprised how many 14 year olds get drunk. So this debate is pretty useless. Other than it just makes those youngin's have to search for a 21 year old to buy them booze (which happens every day)! The debate should be on how to show kids that drinking is not only dangerous but could also be life threatening. No drinking rule, is just like a parent saying to their child no tv, or whatever the case maybe, kids need more than someone or something saying no. They need to know WHY. Perhaps see a shrunk crumbled up liver of a deceased person...Doesn't have to be that graphic, but something else needs done instead of the word NO.

These politicians all see money in this. They want your kids to screw up, this is more money for the state, and also money for those crooked politicians pockets. What adult in their right mind would say some dumb shit like this, I(make the legal age to drink alcohol 18), nothing but a crooked politician would say that. We need to weed out thinkers like that in state offices, when it's the time to vote, no matter what they're to us, or who they're.
