First my dad was a drunk, Now I live by some residents who drink heavy. The yard is a mess and they have no respect for others who live around them. Second the residents who are on state aid should not be able to drink ,do drugs or even smoke. Why are we the working class. Paying for their habit. We could help the state if we took them off state aid and make them responsible for their selves. I do see a need for state aid but not the the ones who take advantage of it. I feel there is no harm in drinking in moderate. But the young are learning to drink and not be held responsible for what they do. I feel 21 years is the best. Less drunken drivers at 18 is the best. I vote for 21.

I believe an 18 year old drinking age might be appropriate but under some restrictions. If our young men and women are old enough to fight for and defend our country, vote and raise families they should be able to have a drink at dinner or out with friends. First I think the state should offer a drinking license for those between 18 - 20 the requirement would be that they have no alcohol related offenses or incidents prior to or during the license ages and they must have graduated high school.

On law and order there was a note after the program on how many underage have been killed in the united states for one year. My question is are they remorse on the ones they kill. How would they feel if it was a family member. You can not put a label on the ones who are mature enough to drink. Some are and some are not. Drinking at meals is not bad but get some of them on the road. If they do not obey the law now,how can they obey the law if you let them drink. Can they make decisions if they are drunk. I have seen an eight year old boy who finishes up the parents bottle at their lunch. How do you make the parents responsible. Some I feel are just not ready for the right to drink at 18. How do you feel about an 8 year old kid.
