Queers should be allowed to serve in the military. I think that they should be put on the front lines without their weapon

you got any clue how many gays have actually lost their lives fighting for your right & freedom to run your mouth. yes it does say in the Bible not do so, however, it also says not to judge others, which is what everyone is doing when they say being gay is wrong. one question for you to think about....would you feel the same if your child grew up & decided he/she wanted to be gay? didn't think so.

I have several friends in the US military who fight for our freedom every day. If every one is so worried about the gay men and women serving our country, then draft every straight 18 year old to replace them. Put their homophobic bodies right on the front line and tell them to fight for their own freedom and rights. And when their family is crying at their funerals, wondering why this happened, we will respond, Don't ask, Don't tell. End of story!

have you been to war?? i bet if you have, you fought alongside of someone that was gay & didnt even know it. you know why? because you didnt ask & they didnt tell. if you havent been to war, & you ever do go, i bet you would feel differently if that gay soldier is the only one there to have your back & save your life so that you may come home to your family. you can say you wouldnt & you would feel that way about your own child, but i dont believe it. if you do feel like that, you have got to bo the most ungrateful cold hearted s.o.b. i've ever had a conversation with. may God have mercy on you.

You don't have to believe it, I have often be told I am cold hearted, and if being disgusted by those who live unnatural lifestyles is your idea of the most cold hearted person you have ever known let me show you some people who are truly cold hearted.

i meant cold hearted by turning your back on your own child. not for being disgusted by it. you have that right. i dont agree with it either, but we're not to judge.

We are EXPECTED to judge, one example is we are expected to judge between good and evil, if you don't judge the difference you will yourself participate in evil. I don't support anyone who acts in ways contrary to what I believe, I don't seek them out and kill them, they certainly have a right to do whatever they want, they just don't get any support from me if they do, that includes my kids.

So you are suggesting that we NEVER judge others? like say if they kill someone?
Ok now what if they rape someone? And further on down if they steal from others?
Ok so now where is the line where you stop judging right from wrong?

good point. i'll give you credit there. and i'll admit that i do judge sometimes too. but that still doesnt make it right for us to do so and that was my point. i think we're getting a little off topic here, lol.

Well back a little more on topic, we are charged with speaking out against what is wrong,(Homosexuality) not judging does not mean sitting idly by and allowing the degradation of our country. So if you want to look at it this way I am not hating the playa I am hating the game. I reject their actions, I do not support any legislation that promotes it, and I do not want my money financing actions I don't agree with. Like I said they can do what they want, but don't think I have to stand silently by and accept it. The bible does not suggest we just sit by and watch the world go down the crapper

DADT was a blessing to a gay Service member. Just wait till they see the regulations that being a Open Gay member will entail, they'll wish it was back to the way it was before. It will be so easy for them to be accused of harassment and charged under UCMJ. All they have to do is look at a straight member and they'll be prosecuted. In the past a member was presumed to not be gay, because being gay was not allowed, now they can be persumed to be gay, because it's allowed.

The Military is not a place for Social Experiments. It has a job to do and that does not include making people happy about their sexuality. There are 1,000's of jobs in the military and some places a gay might fit, but not in Combat Arms. 1 out of 10 never fire a weapon except on a range.

You take 9 straight soldier's in a rifle squad and put in one openly gay man, you have a problem and they won't last long. Life in the military is about cohesion, this will not take place with a gay person, it's about being willing to give your life for another. Sometimes this has to occur in a very short period of time. Example : you lose 3 men in a firefight, the next day you receive 3 replacements. Those replacements have to bond and be accepted instantaneously, because that same day you might be in battle again. Been there done that and I'll tell you, when your life is on the line, you do what you have to do and you'll not let someone else get you killed, you take action. Misfits do not last, be it someone from the ghetto in Detroit, a gay from Atlanta or a pot smoker from Podunk.

In 17 Years of DADT the Military has removed 13,000 Gays or People who acted or said they were Gay ( 750 a year adv.) during the same period of time they released 57,000 for flat feet. During the same 17 years 3 Million have joined the Military.

Get it ?? There is / was no problem, except for some faag looking for a new hunting ground.

DADT, has worked for many years, so why fix something that isn't broken. I feel that queers should be allowed to serve in the military. They are no better than anybody else, even though they think they are. They should not be allowed to proclaim their sexuality by saying I am gay. If they don't tell, they won't have to worry about being kicked out of the military. The straight people are not allowed to proclaim, I am not Queer

Oh my goodness. Finally an intelligent, non-judgmental, actual normal human being who isn't under the spell of a delusional grandiose mind set , that was beaten into ur head as a child. I love racist homophobes who have probably never left the confines of Iron or Wayne county. And as a very open gay woman, I would like to thank President Obama for finally throwing out a ridiculous policy that should have never been allowed in the first place. You asked us what we thought about this subject..... And now I've told you. Because I have a right to do that. In every aspect of the sense now!

I have said it before and I will say it again. All of the ignorant, homophobic rednecks talk smack about the gays that protect them on a daily basis but you would be kissing out gay asses if your ass was in imminent danger. Many gays have stood along straight soldiers to fight for the freedom of EVERYONE and they should be getting your thanks instead of the nastiness coming out of your mouth. I beg all of you anonymous trash talkers to put your real names on here. I think it is funny that some of the only ones who put their names on here are the gay ones. Cracks my gay ass up lol
