Hey, we got out of Iraq, did a great job bombing Libya into the 21st century, got bin Laden, and are close to getting out of Afghanistan.

Looks like having gays in the military has been a success. We should have done it years ago.

Thanks. But I'm going to let you in on a little secret:

There've been gays in the military all along. We just don't have to pretend any more for the sake of those who - due to DNA or bad parenting - can't handle the truth.

I didn't realize that the gays in the military were responsible for bombing Libya into Conoco, got Bin Laden and are getting us out of Afghanistan and leaving our Korans behind. Right Arm.

Why don't you not try to stereotype just because someone doesn't agree with all your verbiage.

How wonderful it is that this topic is now completely irrelevant as anything other than a little historic curiosity.

There is still the problem of chaplains having to marry same-sex couples.

And the fact that the AG will not defend DOMA...though by law he is supposed to.

And hardly anyone gives a crap. You may as well be promoting the idea of Prohibition in 1935.

it is clearly indefensible - leagally, ethically and morally. Why waste time and tax dollars?

Actually you should give a "crap" because it is about a persons freedom of conscience being violated.

Something progressive liberals have no problems at all violating and raping from others.

And then blaming the ones they victimized.

Yes. I used that language because it is EXACTLY what progressive liberals have been doing to this country and the American people for years.

Whine on you ignorant right-wing POS -- Tell the dillusional POS (chaplains)to find another job, as this is required of this one. It's their choice to be there so follow the rules.

Has nothing to do with any Constitutional Issue -- This is a requirement of the job, and if the POS chaplains can't meet the requirement quit -- who could possibly give a shit. What the hell do you think is violated Constitutionally here? There is NO Constitutional Right to refuse to marry those who can leagally marry.

Actually there is a Constutional right to freedom of religion and freedom of conscience. There is no Constitutional right to marry. For anyone.
