Marriage is between a man and a woman. Not a man and a man or a woman and a woman. everyone knows it unnatural for a man to put his pen_is into another mans arse, and then his mouth. Its abnormal.

Wow, the wording is twisted on this question. I picked the wrong answer. Figures. Must be the Associated Press at work.

If you really believe that you should keep your political phallus to yourself instead of screwing the gays. The preamble to the Constitution didn't say: We the religious bigots in order to form a more divisive union.
What do the gays want

We should ask gays what it is that they want and give it to them regardless of personal beliefs!!

A civil union is marriage without the religious connotations (am i correct??)

I think gays should be able to have the same rights as a married heterosexual couple. Absolutely they should!!

Marriage in a Religious sense.. we shouldnt force a church to recognize homosexual marriage thereby infringing upon the right of the religious sect.

If youre gay, why wouldnt a civil union be enough? Why should a church have to tell you its a marriage if they dont believe it is. Why do you feel the need for a churchs approval?

Im straight but have a close lesbian friend and maybe I should ask her; maybe i just dont understand. What Im trying to write is difficult for me to articulate through text. Maybe someone can shed some light on this for me. Rudeness is not my intention.

Churches that don't believe in gay marriage don't have to perform them as there are plenty of churches that perform them already. Separate but equal has been tried and failed. Full equality is the only equality that doesn't create the duel class status that separate but equal creates.

LGBT related discussions generally resort to bipartisan tendancies of combining two seperate issues together, the question of LGBT equal protection from agressive interpretation and the question of defining LGBT couples as marriages.

all people should be protected from crime. society should not allow criminals to gain experience in doing wrong to others. that never works to societies advantage, however; that does not necessarily mean society is obligated to endorse all couples as marriages.

it is like the difference between manners and respect. respect is earned, however it is based upon the foundation of manners as a universal requirement to a functioning society.

then there is the question where does it stop? why not civil union with animals, which I'm sure some on this forum would be capable of. If aids is not proof enough that homosexuality is wrong, then you are blind as a bat. It started in the gay community and spread like wild fire.

You shouldn't start things you can't Finnish.

You had a good thought yet lost every thing in the process.
Associated Press dosen't have any thing to with Civil Unions.
You complain about the ER and it's problems and the expense of medical.

Don't you know that's the main part on those issues?
They want to draw benefits off of each other.
See the pitcher?
How many will be applying to be on each others policies if it was to become legal?
See the Politics as usual?
Don't get me wrong I don't agree in being gay. I've seen the suffering they deal with.
Just my opinion.

If people use religion as a justification for rejecting gay marriage, we become a nation like Iran, that controls its people through the Koran. Christians ha e a history of choosing when to follow which rules they follow.

Actually the Associated Press, if you read any paper, has everything to do with everything. They twist, lie, distort and glorify socialism in every article they print. they have been around since 1860's, they helped put Hitler in office, they put a socialist in the oval office and I could go on for hours.....

You would think gays would want to stay "unmarried", because the way Obuma has reinstated the marriage penalty act it costs more to be married than to not be; roughly $1,400 for each couple. So there reasons for wanting to be married are purely political and anti-religiousl. And they dont suffer. Homosexual, for the most part are richer than the average person. Its a fact jack!

Apparently you have no idea what you're talking about. Preachers dont make demands on the population anywhere close to Iran's leaders. I know Catholic priest would come close to it perhaps, but everyone knows its a cult like islam is anyway.

Most people dont use religion for rejecting gay marriage. You know that Shepherd guy that was beat to death was because he was pushing himself on other guys at a red neck bar. Sounds like suicide by Cop to me. Most normal guys whether they or religious or not, cant stand the thought of another man making an advance toward them. If you are looking to change the collective conscience of the human race, it will never happen. Its born in us. WE are attracted to women, and not other men. And most if not the majority consider if extremely offensive and intrusively abhorrent upon their lives. Its an uphill battle for sure.

If you knew the difference between the Koran and the bible you wouldnt make such a statement. You should study up on what you preach, because you are ignorant of all you speak about in terms of what each religion preaches. Notwithstanding the fact that aLL religions are anti-gay. All red necks are anti-gay, most of the world is anti-gay, so why bring religion into it? If you take out religion you think you can win over the red necks? Dream on.

i dont believe i have ever heard of an example where those people have said anything about animals. thats in your mind. if you want to be bigoted and hateful and discriminate and act ugly against others, then be honest about your hatred as the reason for that comment. and then while you are looking in scriptures, find the quote for "thou shalt talk ugly to others and insult them" because i dont think you are going to find that quote either.

I didnt say there were any standing in line for such, but who knows? I know people who live, or actually dont know them but have seen with mine own eyes, people who have pigs living with them inside their house, calves, chickens, etc. Glad I got out of that job real quick. Its amazing how some people live.

If you want to call .......truth...... hatred, then go ahead and twist everything else, like you usually do.

While I see the point that neither choice would be in accordance to established biological norms of a man and woman, its still inaccurate to assume one result simply because you don’t like another. That is not truth that is dislike of the subject displayed through insult humor. If you want to be technical about the issue of production, the entire design is irresponsible by its very nature with no quality control guarantee whatsoever. It is important of course to establish social expectations to minimize problems, but the process itself in whatever direction is based on irresponsible selfish motivation to satisfy a drive. Do not mistake moderate observation as endorsement however. As mentioned I do believe man and woman as the established social and biological norm. I just don’t see the need for bothering others.
