If the govt isn't supposed to favor a particular religion, and it's only people's religion telling them marriage is man + woman, then how can the gov't legislate something based on a religious preference?

As much as people do not want to think religion plays a role in society stating what is acceptable and what is not... it does!

Marriage IS meant to be between a man and woman and that is that. I think people should consider homosexuals as abnormal, because it is abnormal. Gays do not and will not ever be able to marry in the US and if they ever are granted that right then this world is heading for a whole lot of trouble. As stated above, the Bible states that it is an abomination and it is. I honestly feel that more people are against than those that are for it. I have to wonder what the hell is going on in our society for people to think that this is acceptable?

Gays should keep their relationships behind closed doors, we do not want to see that... like I said it is ABNORMAL!
