Tired of the ignorance and embarrassed that, in 2012, we STILL cannot think for ourselves. Marry whom you love; I will support any genuine love.

I cannot tolerate the degree of ignorance that some people have.
"Two entirely different things cannot be considered the same thing."
Let me just say that the "things" you are referring to are called HUMAN BEINGS, who deserve the same respect as any other "thing" in this world. And no, man and woman are not entirely different. Biological traits are different, but what complements each other isn't a man and a woman. It's a human and another human.
Your purpose of marriage in this case is "the perpetuation of the human race and the raising of children" Reproduction is the extension of our mankind NOT MARRIAGE. And so you are saying with your narrow mind that a man and another man cannot raise a child? Biologically they cannot bear a child, but what makes you think that they are not capable of raising children? I'm sure two parents can raise a child better than one single parent can. Children need love, not hate as you would raise your children to learn with this mindset.
And Natural law as you speak of it is almost impossible to define in this day in age. Divorce is not natural. Marrying your cousin isnt even natural but so many people did it anyways. Your "elementary concept" is indeed elementary. Our society's moral standards are changing.
I'd love to attack you on your other ridiculous statements but I'm sure you know what's coming. Our society is changing FOR THE BETTER. You have to start embracing what is true. Humans all deserve rights, no matter what color, orientation, or age you are. We all deserve the right to marriage.
Oh god. I thought of I was the only one. I REALLY wanted to just punch my computer screen when I read that.

What a farce this "poll" is. You can clear your cache and vote as many times as you'd like. That's what the paid gay editors like Mr. Bill and others are doing to make it look like the entire country is for gay marriage. In every state where there has been a choice, it's been slapped down, overwhelmingly.

We all should be able to marry the person we love, if it's a boy, or a girl. Seriously guys. Are you really trying to hold true love back? Remember when you fell in love? Remember how that felt? Or even if your in love right now! You know how it feels! So why do you think just because it's between two people of the same sex, that it shouldn't be a marriage? Hey, heads up! Turns out, that according to scientific study, families with two parents of the same sex actually have a better, more stable and happy family and a better family life, that an estimated 0% of lesbian moms are abusive, and that love between homosexual lovers is actually predicted to be actual true love, not just some love-hoax. I was raised with a mom and dad, and I can tell you, it was probably one of the most unstable environments to grow up in, and the same thing goes for almost every single one of my friends with straight parents. Only two of my friends have homosexual parents, and they are the sweetest, most kind people I have ever met, and their families are the happiest I have ever seen in my life. So why would you want to keep that from happening? What is wrong with you people who think that love is only between a man and a woman?! Love comes in many different shapes, sizes, forms, colors, everything. Because love IS NOT what dangles between your legs. Love isn't a gender. Love is genderless. Love doesn't know any better, it is blind, but it chooses the most wisely out of all creatures ever in the universe.
So why do you want to keep two people in love from marrying each other?

A lot of what you said contradicts itself and is false. I'm bi and gay marriage is just as good as straight marriage. When you say it doesn't coincide with nature you are wrong most animals are known to be involved in homosexual relationships. A lot of straight couples don't have kids either so your point is flawed there. I have fallen in love with men and women and it was beautiful. The only difference was that one had a penis and one had a vagina. I used to be just like you; I thought I was straight(I was always attracted to guys but I just thought it was a normal thing), I was also a republican, and I was a Christian. Now I am the exact opposite I am now a liberal, I finally realized I was bisexual, and I am an atheist. Oh and life isn't easy I live in texas but im moving soon, but hey now im not judgmental and I enjoy life to the fullest 100% of the time.

So you're atheist now because you couldn't convince people to accept homosexual acts?
